I changed that (seen here in the thread) as a workaround:

/ext/gfksx/ThanksForPosts/styles/prosilver/template/event/viewtopic_body_post_buttons_list_after.html

Code: Select all

<!-- IF  not postrow.S_FIRST_POST_ONLY or postrow.S_ONLY_TOPICSTART -->
   <!-- IF not postrow.S_GLOBAL_POST_THANKS and not postrow.S_POST_ANONYMOUS and S_FORUM_THANKS and S_USER_LOGGED_IN and not postrow.S_IS_OWN_POST and (not postrow.S_ALREADY_THANKED or postrow.S_REMOVE_THANKS) -->
   <a id="lnk_thanks_post{postrow.POST_ID}" href="{postrow.THANKS_LINK}" class="button icon-button {postrow.THANKS_IMG}" title="{postrow.THANK_ALT}{postrow.POST_AUTHOR}"><span>{postrow.THANK_ALT_SHORT}</span></a>
   <!-- ENDIF -->
<!-- ENDIF -->
So the Thanks-Button is at the left side and don´t have trouble with the latest one at the right side. Not beautiful but now we can see all the functions there... :oops:

Doesn`t work in Black Style for me. Button is still on the right side and quote Botton is not visible

I have the "latte" style enabled. Now I'm wondering how I can hide the "unthank" button when the option is disabled by admin anyways.

I'm not quite sure if this is an extension question or a plugin question :oops:

Ok i've got a way to do it for Subway style, here's what it looks like and what to do

Image

you have to go edit the Subway style file "styles/Subway/template/viewtopic_body.html"
look out for this:

Code: Select all

<!-- IF postrow.U_QUOTE -->
	<li>
		<a href="{postrow.U_QUOTE}" title="{L_REPLY_WITH_QUOTE}" class="button icon-button quote-icon"><span>{L_QUOTE}</span></a>
	</li>
<!-- ENDIF -->
and add after:

Code: Select all

<!-- IF  not postrow.S_FIRST_POST_ONLY or postrow.S_ONLY_TOPICSTART -->
	<!-- IF not postrow.S_GLOBAL_POST_THANKS and not postrow.S_POST_ANONYMOUS and S_FORUM_THANKS and S_USER_LOGGED_IN and not postrow.S_IS_OWN_POST and (not postrow.S_ALREADY_THANKED or postrow.S_REMOVE_THANKS) -->
		<li>
			<a id='lnk_thanks_post{postrow.POST_ID}' href="{postrow.THANKS_LINK}" title="{postrow.THANK_ALT}{postrow.POST_AUTHOR}" class="button icon-button icon-thumbs-up"><span>{postrow.THANK_ALT_SHORT}</span></a>
		</li>
	<!-- ENDIF -->
<!-- ENDIF -->
<!-- EVENT viewtopic_body_post_buttons_after -->
which is the same code as the viewtopic_body_post_buttons_list_after.html except i modified the icon for the Subway thumps up icon.

you can now clear the viewtopic_body_post_buttons_list_after.html content and everything should looks ok.

hope it helps

Would be helpful if you put this in the first post! I've just spent an hour trying to figure out why it wasn't showing in 3.1.4 :(

For some odd reason when you enable it for posts it tends to replace the quote button.

Have you figured out this issue by chance? I am stuck with this.

I am using prosilver v3.1.5 and the thanks button overlays the quotes button, I have gone through 29 pages and either missed where someone addressed how to resolve the issue or it is just not there, I have tried some of the code changes recommended for the thanks.css and they don't work.

Anyone?
