For what it's worth, I have been using it on a live board for more than six months without problems.

I was surfing by the quick links of my forum and discovered that in the list of thanks appears some data from profile fields that normal users have no permiss to see.

So I diceded to disable the extension and to come here to comment it...

But, since I clicked to disable the extension in PCA, I got this:

Code: Select all

Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Symfony\Component\DependencyInjection\Exception\ServiceNotFoundException' with message 'The service "alg.addonforthanksforposts.thanks_ajax_handler" has a dependency on a non-existent service "gfksx.thanksforposts.helper".' in /homepages/11/d244955974/htdocs/Foro/vendor/symfony/dependency-injection/Symfony/Component/DependencyInjection/Compiler/CheckExceptionOnInvalidReferenceBehaviorPass.php:58 Stack trace: #0 /homepages/11/d244955974/htdocs/Foro/vendor/symfony/dependency-injection/Symfony/Component/DependencyInjection/Compiler/CheckExceptionOnInvalidReferenceBehaviorPass.php(42): Symfony\Component\DependencyInjection\Compiler\CheckExceptionOnInvalidReferenceBehaviorPass->processReferences(Array) #1 /homepages/11/d244955974/htdocs/Foro/vendor/symfony/dependency-injection/Symfony/Component/DependencyInjection/Compiler/CheckExceptionOnInvalidReferenceBehaviorPass.php(36): Symfony\Component\DependencyInjection\Compiler\CheckExceptionOnInvalidReferenceBehaviorPass->processDefinition(Object(Sy in /homepages/11/d244955974/htdocs/Foro/vendor/symfony/dependency-injection/Symfony/Component/DependencyInjection/Compiler/CheckExceptionOnInvalidReferenceBehaviorPass.php on line 58

Could you please help me to solve this?

Thanks in advance!

I went to phpmyadmin and run this sql query:

Code: Select all

UPDATE `db6052`.`phpbb_ext` SET `ext_active` = '0' WHERE `phpbb_ext`.`ext_name` = 'alg/AddonForThanksForPosts';
So, now my forum is online again and this ext is disabled... by the moment
I'll be watching how to resolve this isue...

Hello,
I have now used the extension Vers. 2.0.2 and it works without problem.
What I noticed is that tables are not beautiful split, the column for the name could be wider.
thank you

Apparently you have an issue with that extension viewtopic.php?f=456&t=2259666 which is an ajaxifying addon for the current one.

Thanks, I'll take it in account for the future development.

I also had a big problem with the addon.
Users got logged out all the time.
I disabled the addon and the issue was gone!

Certainly!! The problem was that I had disabled your extension while the addon was still abled!!
So, when I disabled the addon, I solved the issue..

Now, I'm searching where is the group's permission to avoid that one of them can see the List of Thanks...., but I don't find where it is :?: :?:

Or, I wonder if it would be possible to choose the fields that appears in that list, because in mine it's shown one personal field with some data that should be seen only for special groups..

Thank you very much by your development and your assist!!
Great job!!

Didn't get the question, it shouldn't require any additional enabling but on Customize ACP tab.

It didn't show up right away for me either.

I went to the Extension tab and Update counters. I did a refresh.

Then I was able to see the Thumb Up icon in the upper right.

It's worked well, the users asked that many parts be turned off (graphics, topic rating, etc) so now it is basically showing who Liked a post. The flexibility this extension has is really nice.
