Post by Satanasov »

Extension Name: PM Search

Extension Description:: The extension gives users the abbility to search trought their personal messages.
Extension Version:: 1.0

Requirements:
PhpBB3 RC3 and newer

Features:
  • UCP:
    * add abbility to search for words in your PMs (same as form search)
    ACP:
    * add admin page with statistics
    * add ability to delete index and redo index
Extension Download: https://github.com/satanasov/pmsearch

This extension uses ONLY fulltext_native search. It will not provide fulltext_mysql, fulltext_postgres or sphynx support.

Help wanted: it appears that this is one of those extensions that have problems with Travis-ci's sqlite3. If there is someone that can debug why my test fail under travis with SQLite 3 ... I will be grateful

Is it still for RC3 or should the OP be updated to RC5?

And it's in beta (fully workable, but could have some bugs).

If you want to test it ... go for it.

Can you be more specific? Are you getting an error page? Are all pages loading blank?

Yes, please be specific.

The extension is installed and working on 2 different boards ... the travis tests are passing - please provide more info:

Board version?
DBMS Version?
Are you running last extension version?
What other extensions are working on your board?

I'm sorry, I was so frustrated that I directly deaktivated it and posted this (not very helpful) post :roll: :oops:

Now I can't replicate the result. It was an error which only appeared in the footer of the page this table-looking-like error message with bright orange, red and white backgrounds .. unfortunately I can't remember the text :?

I don't know how I did it and didn't change any extensions since then. However, now it works like a charm ^^;

srry thx & cheers

You're right, sorry.
Is there an extension that would enable seeing all conversations with a specific user? This extension does freetext search, which is cool, but would still make it harder to view conversations with specific people if their user name is a common word.
