I'm in the same position. And now my webhost is closing in on dropping support for the old forum version so when that happens everything will just stop working.

Problem is that a big part of our users are artists posting photos or artwork and it would become quite the chaos if resizing wasn't working then.

It would be nice to hear how things are working out with the extension seeing how there's no alternative available from what I've seen.

I am with you on this, I had a list of mods I deemed as essential. Most of which have not been released yet, but I have managed to work the list down to one mod... This one. We use a lot of pictures and them not re sizing is going to cause chaos.

Are you talking about the link Solidjeuh mentioned? It's actually in it's final stage that is what [RC] means. Release Candidate means that it's ready to use live, but there is one small note... It isn't checked/tested by the phpbb.com team. The best thing to do is wait till it's is approved in de Customization Database here ;)

Nope, although I might just finish up what I have and leave out a few of the additional features that the original had just so an Alpha can be provided.

Nope. Not until I release the Alpha. Otherwise you're going to have some annoying alerts come up for every single posted image. ;)
