Yes, is it possible to delete the files inside the twig folder?

I can remove files that are in the cache folder, in the folders in the twig folder, there are other files that I cannot remove, the ones I have checked are all from February 27th, around the time I started to update the board!

Ok, you don't have the rights to delete these files it seems.

A solution is to copy the styles folder of this extension to ext/marttiphpbb/customcode/.

Because, the cache files are referring to the event files of the custom code extension. But these are incompatible with 3.1.6 and next. The insert template code extension contains the same event files, but these are empty, so they won't generate errors.

Marrti, thanks for your help! Please excuse my lack on knowledge on matters such as this!

This is what I did, downloaded the board files onto my machine, emptied the cache folder, including Twig
Renamed the existing folder on the server, then uploaded the board files again, apart from having to change the permissions on the cache folder, it worked, just got to get my revive ad server banners back in now, which is what I was using the custom code extension for

Many thanks

Tony

Custom code is now disabled, so I guess I can delete the file?

Or just copy, as you suggested, the styles folder from the updated ext?

Also delete the data of Custom Code (ACP > Custumize > Manage Extensions) and then delete the files of the extension.

You can delete manually the folder customcode inside the folder store.

I still have the old files from the store/custom code folder, can these be reused?

Many thanks

I checked the files in text editor and there's nothing in them! worth a try! :x

I used custom code to insert the invocation code from my adserver software

Code: Select all

<!--/*
  *
  * Revive Adserver Asynchronous JS Tag
  * - Generated with Revive Adserver v3.2.1
  *
  */-->

<ins data-revive-zoneid="1" data-revive-id="f47602ccf85ad6338dc66631c7e31bee"></ins>
<script async src="//www.kiteboarder.co.uk/revive/www/delivery/asyncjs.php"></script>
It made it very simple, much appreciated!
To insert this now, I look for the event, so the code above was the first in a line of three small banners (with a space between each banner) and was in the overall header. I think it goes after the following event overall_header_page_body_before
Not sure how it works beyond that!

Is there any tutorials or anything to explain?

Many thanks

Well, install the Insert Template Code extension, insert your code in
ext/marttiphpbb/inserttemplatecode/style/all/template/event/overall_header_page_body_before.html
and clear the cache.

Thanks for your reply.
I tried what you suggested, I wanted it in overall_header_navbar_before
so i created a file with that name (.html) and added the code above, but it just displays the code?
I guess I'm missing something!

Many thanks

Tony
