It has been said that turning on the server rewrite option in the ACP fixes this. I can't test because I'm not using apache.

Here are my Nginx rewrite rules:

Code: Select all

        #FIX MCHAT AJAX BASE DIR
        rewrite ^/memberlist.php /forum/memberlist.php permanent;
        rewrite ^/download/file.php /forum/download/file.php permanent;
        rewrite ^/styles/prosilver/theme/images/no_avatar.gif /forum/styles/prosilver/theme/images/no_avatar.gif permanent;
        #rewrite ^styles/prosilver/theme/images/no_avatar.gif /forum/styles/prosilver/theme/images/no_avatar.gif permanent;
        rewrite ^/ucp.php /forum/ucp.php permanent;
        rewrite ^/adm/index.php /forum/adm/index.php permanent;
        rewrite ^/images/smilies/(.*) /forum/images/smilies/$1 permanent;

Hey there, Im having a bit of trouble with this Mchat. When I have it enabled it takes over my forum completely.

This is what it looks like when extention is enabled but disabled in it's settings:
Image
If I ever need to disable it it will not allow any other activities? I managed to browse back in the thread for a fix for the problem when enabled.

is there any troubleshoot or simple solutions?

Your image link gives a 403.

think the images should be visable now, though I want to add a question.

The mChat tab on the UCP just leads to an error that it can't find the " ./includes/ucp/ucp_mchat.php" so I thought it was leftovers from before (I didn't uninstall it before doing 3.1 update) and wonder how to remove it unless its a part of this extention and then I wonder how to make it work :?

The mChat tab in the UCP works for me. In there are settings for display of avatars, etc.

guess I have to find myself a ucp_mchat.php file, wonder what happened to it then.

Must be something going on with modules or whatnot. I really need a reference guide @.@

Before upgrading to 3.1 you should have deleted any custom UCP/ACP modules. That's probably a leftover module from the 3.0 mod. In the 3.1 extensions there are no files to be placed or modified in the core (includes is a core directory).
