John connor wrote:I'm using fade header. When I click a flag at the bottom of my forum the header is white and cycles to nothing but white. The link is app.php so not sure if that's the issue or not.

Also, I have an ext that shows 404's and I see a lot og 404's to this path: /flags/images/banner4.jpg /flags/images/banner1.jpg /flags/images/banner2.jpg, etc.

So I placed an images folder in flags and copied my banners to it, but that didn't solve the problem.
I am not sure why that is happening.

And btw. RMcGirr83 ... this is your extension ("Everyone is free to take the code and modify it as they see fit."). A little bit more understanding and work would be very helpful.
No idea what you are asking/saying and I can not be expected to provide every Nth request to those who ask. Either
  1. use the extension as is
  2. use it and modify it as you like
  3. don't use it.

Could you put that link back up? If the 3.1.5 version is used and then transitioned to 3.1.6, will data persist?

Was there ever a fix for the UCP error? (the flag not appearing when you go to change your country in your UCP panel)?

There's a problem with the tooltips when a country contains '&'.

Assign a user the flag for 'Antigua & Barbuda', (I don't have users there but a spambot chose it), then on viewtopic the flag tooltip will show 'Antigua & Barbuda'.

Hi RMcGirr83,

my board uses french language by default, if a user uses the english language for his account, the text "Flag" is not displayed in english but in french, on viewtopic and in UCP. All the rest of text is displayed correctly in english.

Check the /language file for /en/ and check the common.php file.

Then if they are in french, change them to English.

Hi nero,

i appreciate your joking but the extension files are untouched. I have added only the FRENCH translation, i’m the translator.

Ensure your translation is accurate. This is called on every page $this->user->add_lang_ext('rmcgirr83/nationalflags', 'common'); so you would need to check the translation of and/or the original common.php lang file.

No, it’s your extension which have a problem.

On phpBB vanilla, 3.1.5, if install your extension, "Flag" text is displayed, then i add my french translation the text is displayed in french (UCP and viewtopic) whatever the language selected by the user.

Your extension doesn’t take in consideration the language account selected by user for this text (UCP and viewtopic) and priorise the default board language instead.

You can test yourself with my french translation.
