Wanted to +1 a request made by someone else previously, the ability to have the answer as the post immediately following the question (OP), with the entire thread still below would be nice. As would a separate settable term to display next to the answer, ie it would say "Answer" instead of saying "Solved" again.

Great work bpetty!

I love this MOD and its one of the most important MOD on my board. Was really missing it for v3.1...now I could finally update on 3.1.

btw. One of the idea for future development of "nice to have thing" could be to have the option to "solve all my topics". Could be useful in some cases...

That might be a little weird trying to arbitrarily figure out which posts to mark as the solution for each thread. I'm not sure exactly how to approach that.

Hi Bryan

First, thx for this extension, very usefully. :) We will use it, when we released our game project.

It works nice, but there is a problem with the language part. In ACP he shows only the variable names instead of text, independently from the selected language. This means this is happen also, if i select english in the profile.

This looks like walther's posting:

viewtopic.php?f=456&t=2298421&start=75#p14012151

But in the forum view he shows correctly the tooltip texts and also in the posting view. I had then a closer look at the source and it seems that some variables from info_acp_forums.php are not referenced in the source.
May the backup be with you. Always.

I like this ext! :D

One question: Is it possible to move to "solved-icon" in front of the thread-title?
Now: Topic-title [solved-icon]
Request: [solved-icon] Topic-title

Yes, you're right. The only option I see here would be to choose the first post as a solution...but maybe it could confuse the users...so, forget it please ;-)

Once again, may thanks for your hard work with the conversion of this great mod!

Here is an Estonian translation for the "Topic Solved" extension by bpetty:

Installed on phpbb 3.1.4 works perfect, a brilliant Extension thanks.

Added it to my "For Sale" forum and changed Solved to SOLD using BF0000 for the color, created a new topic in the For Sale area then clicked the button to mark it SOLD worked, then clicked the button again to remove the SOLD worked, then checked it SOLD again works perfect.

Thanks!

Try clearing your forum cache after installing or updating this extension. The cache can cause some language strings to not load properly.

This feature has been requested already. I've opened a new issue you can subscribe to if you're interested to know when it happens, but I have no idea when that might be:
