Under any "Edit forum" page, as long as the forum type is "Forum" (and not "Category" or "Link"), you should see "Topic solved settings" at the bottom.

I haven't tried to enable the extension on pre-3.1.3 boards, but it should prevent you from enabling the extension on anything older than 3.1.3 as well.

OK, it is working really good. Is it possible to mass update all forums with it? Also "centralised" settings would be fine... When it will work graphic tick ;)

one bug: when I see the topic, it has two spaces in topic name. On topic overview, there is one space.
screen of dual space

This would be nice to have. For the first release, I'm mostly only concerned about bringing over all features from the original Topic Solved MOD, just so it works as closely as possible for the upgrade to 3.1.

Personally, I'd be perfectly fine with the "solve text" and "solve color" being global config options with just one setting for all forums, but that would break a feature that worked in the old MOD.
Komanche wrote:When it will work graphic tick ;)
I could simply use the same old MOD graphics, and might just do that for now, but they seem old and out of place with the prosilver theme updates. Here's what they look like: old topic solved graphics.

In phpBB, the difference between the two is that one is a "TOPIC_TITLE", and the other is the "POST_SUBJECT". Ironically, the one that looks like it has two spaces is actually only using one non-breaking space while the the other is using two non-breaking spaces. It's really hard to get them to both look identical, but I don't think it's a big deal. So this is where I decided to stay compatible with the original MOD again. This is exactly the same spacing from the old MOD.

Here's a sample from the original MOD on phpBB 3.0.x:

Very nice ext!

Feature request: ability to choose an answer in the thread as THE solution and linking to that answer from the OT.
I have this cusomized for my phpBB 3.0.x and it is very useful!

Maybe I'm just confused about your request, but I believe this is the way it currently works.

"Mark solved" buttons are on each post in the thread, and if a post is marked, the solved indicators shown in forum, search, and topic views link directly to the post that was marked. Only one post in any thread can be marked as the solution.
