External Links Open in New Window and Profile side switcher.

I disabled both other extensions, cleared the cache and it still does not work. Just since 1.0.0. I can PM you a URL if you want to see for yourself.

OK well I updated to 1.0.1 I'm still having issues. I also copied over that test file you sent me by PM. Still nothing. Strange, it's like it completely broke after RC4.

How about everyone else? Are others having any problems with this extension or is it working good? I'd like to hear from some others also.

I did not understand (because of my bad english) what is your problem.
I updated Amazon Affiliate.
I have extension External Links Open in New Window (rmcgirr83/elonw) and s9e/mediaembed.
Amazon Affiliate works ok.
It is necessary to put the link in to see the Amazon code and there is no image, only the link.

If the amazon link is not in tags [url] I see:

Code: Select all

refURL=http://myboard/viewtopic.php?f=xxx
and I see the product image.
But I'm not sure ref URL is accepted by Amazon as for the affiliation code.

I really can not understand it. No matter how I test I can not reproduce your error. Strange

Hello.

I hope you can help me with my problem. (I hope also you understand me, because my english is not very well :D).

First:
The extension is very well and added my Amazon ID correctly

Problem:
When I post an Amazon link, the ID doesn't add directly. Only after about a minute, and when I leave the browser window and come back, the ID will be added.

I would like, that the ID displayed immediately. Is it possible? Is a java problem`?

I hope you can help me . Thanks a lot :)

It is not a problem with the extension. It all depends on the browser, and how quickly it loads everything.

As the Affiliate ID is added by the browser, you will find that different browsers will add it after a different time has passed.

If you try on a different browser and/or different computer you will see.

Hello HiFikabin,

so i've tried it several times and with different browser (Chrome, Safari).

There is no time problem as suspected.

The ID will show only if I change the Window / Tab of the browser. Then it works fine.

Any other ideas?

Thanks

It might be your Anti Virus or ad blocking software causing the problem. I am afraid its trial and error to see where the problem lies.
