I'm having the same problem in 3.2 RC2.
Just double checked on my 3.2.0_RC2 test forum and it works perfectly both on fresh install and upgrade from 3.2.x.

Try disable>delete data and re install

Well, I tried everything and it still isn't working yet it works fine in 3.1.9. I disabled and delted data and deleted from FTP. Reuploded and enabled , also cleared cache. This is what I see. http://imgur.com/VqBwemm

Funny thing is I do have an ext called ELONW (External Links Open In New Window) But it's deactivated. Although its data is not deleted. The other font option I don't know where that is coming from.

Then I disabled all extensions and now this is what I got: http://imgur.com/8tLM2o1

I have been having more problems with 3.2 RC2 and I think it might be my host. I don't have access to any real error logs unless an error_log or error.log is created in the FTP which it has not. I'm using a shared account.

The language files are not being loaded, so I don't know what else is missing but it looks like a table is not being added to the database.

I suggest that you disable>delete data>delete the files and check the extension tab of the ACP to make sure everything has deleted OK. Then try a new download.

Just done a fresh install of 3.2.0 It enabled in the ACP and activated in the UCP correctly.

Try the usual disable/delete date/enable and see if that works.

Great! I built it for my wifes forum with an older audience and thought others might find it useful.

1.0.1-RC1 now available. Allows the user to increase the font size up to ~400% of the default and/or make all the font bold.

Update from previous version:
  • Download the latest release and unzip it.
  • Disable Font Size in the ACP
  • Delete largefont folder from the server
  • Upload the folder hifikabin to root/ext/ and enable it in the ACP

I really like this extension. I'm just asking if possible to have an variable size from 100% to xxx% instead of just 4 options inside the dropdown menu ?

130% was a little too big for me and I checked If I can setup for example to 110% but 130% was just to lowest value I could select. Sure I could rewrite for my own with values I wanted but maybe the extension could be improved doing this by their own.

Hi, glad you like it

The 'problem' with having a 'user defined' value for the size is the value you select in the UCP is not the value that is used by the extension. (eg selecting 200% actually uses 110% in the extension) Its an exponential progression which makes it difficult to describe to most users.

400% was a request, which is why I have that as a top value.

It is easy for me to add more options in the UCP if that would help. All I would need is a suitable range of values to add.

So, suggestions please

I tried to change fonts to 105, 110 and 115%
But I see no changed.. how can I change it please?
Does it have something to do with if S_USER_FONT_SIZE eq ?

Yes, that is correct.

In ucp_prefs_personal_append.html

you will find 4 lines similar to this

Code: Select all

<option value="104"{% if S_USER_FONT_SIZE eq '104' %} selected="selected"{% endif %}>{{ lang('USER_FONT_SIZE_130') }}</option>
I know its odd, but 104 actually increases the font size to ~130% (hence the language string) and 120 increases it to ~400%.

Changing that line to (say)

Code: Select all

<option value="101"{% if S_USER_FONT_SIZE eq '101' %} selected="selected"{% endif %}>105%</option>
will give you ~105% increase (and so on, you can add as many lines of code to that block as you wish)

There is no convenient way to have both a drop down selection and a user defined input, however, as I said in a previous answer I can add any number of options to the drop down list.

So:
102 = 110%
103 = 115%
104 = 120%

etc.. ?

Then 120 should be 200% .. instead of 400%.. Or am I not understanding it? :lol: :oops:

No, its not that simple (I wish it was)

The numbers as in the UCP file are correct, 104 > 130% and 120 > 400%

I have yet to map the logic between the pairs of numbers, which would make life a whole lot easier for everyone.
