Re: [RC] Smilie Signs

Post by karbiko »

Hi, thanks by this nice ext!!

I wonder how it could be used with the enabled quick reply of phpbb3 3.3.... Is it possible??

And a second question is about the stick -that should be in the smilie's hand- is not shown in proflat style..
I have created a new folder in ./ext/sniper/smilies/styles with that style name. And then I have copied files from inside ./ext/sniper/smilies/styles/prosilver to ./ext/sniper/smilies/styles/proflat.
Then I erased cache in ACP and in server,... but the stick still doesn't appear.

What am I doing wrong?

Spelling is freeware, which means you can use it for free.
On the other hand, it is not open source, which means you cannot change it or publish it in a modified form.

You can download a version at https://www.dmzx-web.net/download/file.php?id=925 that will work on the PHPBB 3.2.3

Sorry I have not got back to you on this update.

The smiliesign/ext.php needs one line changed for it to install on phpBB 3.3

Code: Select all

		return version_compare($config['version'], '3.1.2', '>=');
But I need to recheck this with updated versions of ABBC3 and Posting Buttons ext.
I'll try to get an update posted soon.

i have QuickReply Reloaded and Advanced BBCode Box installed, basic prosilver as style and elegance style.
neither in the the normal posting area or quick reply area the code doesn't show up in the posting fields.

i tried both styles

further i run on latest phpbb

when i manually add the code like

Code: Select all

[sign=bananas]some text[/sign]
it works

I have been looking for the latest version of Quickreply Reloaded for testing.

But this ext also needs a few other updates as soon as I can get to it. I'll get around to it...

Hello.

Thanks for this ext.
It works fine with the download link to dmzx.

So also runs on 3.3.3

My problem is that in the search and in the display of the forum rules above the view is completely shifted.

What can I do so that it is generally not displayed?
I don't want to see the additional ad outside of the posts.

Where should I remove what?

Unfortunately, this is the case in all styles.

It's been dealt with.

I also got the package on the Sniper site and from there put the missing prosilver folder in the package from the link dmzx.

The combination of both then works without the display errors in the search and the forum rules ;-)

I've decided to revisit this little extension. I'll set it up for phpBB 3.3.4 and look at that PM option.
