I don't understand why this happens.

Using phpMyAdmin or Adminer, open the table phpbb3_glossary and look at column lang. Normally, it should be 12 byte wide. Change it if this is not the case. And while you're there, put the default value you want.

You have to first make it wider.
Select the table, then Structure, Modify, put varchar 12 instead of 2.

On the other hand, I think most people don't use the de-x-sie files as such, but rename the de folder as de-x-du and then the de-x-sie as de.

I uploaded on github a new version (1.4.4).
This corrects a possible confusion between terms when they alternate in following posts of a topic.

There seems to be a bug when the same word is used in both "Terms to search in the posts" and "Definition of term".. The original text in the post gets replaced with parts of the definition.

This is not a bug, but a feature. There is an option to forbid the recursive search, precisely to avoid this phenomen. In this case, the term used as anchor is the main term used in the table, not each of the variants.

You're correct. I was writing off my head. The principle remains correct.

At me in your expansion it is created and works as it is necessary only one word. The rest of the words after the creation do not work. Also, the first word is not editable.

Could you be more precise?

When installing the extension, do you have two dummy terms (test and trial)?
Did you enable the extension in the Extension/Glossary tab?
If you create a test topic with a single post containing trial and test, are those terms clickable?

You say that you can't add a new term.
Do you see the link to the glossary display page in the navigation bar?
On the glosssary display page, do you have a link to a glossary administration page?

All this is there. Such situation as I described above arises if you add an image to the word.
Also, for the image to be loaded, you must change the permissions of the ext / lmdi / gloss / glossary folder to 777

Would it be possible to make the whole [ X ]-box in the popup-window clickable, instead of just the X? It can be kind of hard to hit it precisely
