You would have to edit the text in /language/en/email. If you update the extensions your changes would be overwritten.

It's possible. The files are used for text and HTML digests, so make changes only to the ones with html in the file name.

There is a mass subscribe/unsubscribe feature in the ACP on the Extensions tab.

The simulation hour is not the same as the current board hour.

It is +2 hours.

Is this normal? I am not getting a test digest.

If you want to simulate for the current hour, set "Simulate month and hour, or day of week and hour for sending digest" to No. If you specify the year, month, day and hour, since it will be converted to a UNIX timestamp, the values will be converted based on the clock on your server. That could be clearer. It sounds like in your case the server timezone is +2GMT.

This PHP function should report the server's timezone: date_default_timezone_get();

It worked thanks.

Is there a way to remove the digest options display from the emails?

And how can I add a Spanish version?

Thanks.

You would have to edit the email templates in the extension's language/en/email folder to remove the markup. These changes will be overwritten when you update the extension.

There is no Spanish translation for digests. You can create one and submit it to me for inclusion. Basically you would copy /language/en folder in the extension to /language/es then carefully edit the files to make the translations. It's not too hard to introduce a syntax error when making changes. You may need to purge the cache to see the changes. The Spanish language pack also needs to be enabled and your profile needs to use the Spanish language pack.

Could you add an option in the admin to remove these? I think it would confuse users more than anything...

Perhaps in a future version. Users tend to want all sorts of customizations. Ideally the extension would have a built in editor, but something like that is quite a challenge to implement.

Just an option to remove them is challenging?

It is certainly possible. Users want all sorts of customizations like this. I'll look into it for a future version.

Looking forward to that update to avoid confusing users as most don't even know what html is and probably email spam filters also would be happier without some of these words.

Thanks.
