I deactivated and deleted the extension from phpbb admin area and server, so nothing shows up in phpbb_ext in phpmyadmin. Should I edit anything in phpbb_extensions or phpbb_extension_groups?

Theonardo wrote: Sat May 13, 2017 8:44 am Thanks. I already did both of those things, but doesn't help.
Then I doubt that the ext causes the problem.
But more likely a problem caused when clearing cache which is when installing an ext

Any idea how I can fix this? I tried reinstalling the extension (my phpbb admin area works, just not the front end) and then deactivating it and deleting it, but this didn't help either.

What phpbb version?
Can you pm me a link to your board?
Other ext installed?
Did you manually delete the cache with FTP?

3.2

Other ext is just Tappatalk, which hasn't acted up on me in almost two years.

Yes, I manually deleted the cache in FTP. Permissions for cache folder are 777 as they should be.

Thanks kindly.

Hi Stoker,

I got Hostmonster to clear the server cache and now the site appears to be working again? I'm not sure why any of this happened. Thank you for looking into it.

Hi stoker.
Every time i use the ad code , extension gives me
403 forbidden error.
( Access to this resource is forbidden from the server )

I tried the different ad codes but error is the same.

I know this is not because of this extension. but I am not sure what causing it. ( may be file permission or something )

Your help will be much appreciated.

Problem solved. It was a hosting issue.

Thanks

Have you read this about the adsense code use for Ad Block detector ad code:
Adsense code for the Adblock Detector. You need Adsense here for this to work, or another javascript ad. Cant be responsive. I suggest a text link banner.
You can use HTML but notice that you cant use " signs. You have to use ' instead. This goes for links and styling.
