Hello there @ all.
Sadly i also got a problem. Its not like im new in installing extensions.
Tested both the developed and Master version. my Forum itself for no visible reason
doesnt even show the acp menu options. :(
Installation went perfectly. Navigating to the ACP to Customise --> Manage extensions also made no problem.
The Paypal Dontaion extension has been enabled and is ready to use. Logs also tell me that the following
Modules have been activated:
  • PPDE_ACP_DONATION_PAGES
  • PPDE_ACP_CURRENCY
  • PPDE_ACP_TRANSACTIONS
  • PPDE_ACP_DONATION
  • PPDE_ACP_OVERVIEW
  • PPDE_ACP_SETTINGS
I guess this 6 modules are needed to let the ACP settings for Paypal Donation show up correctly. neitherless i can not see a little thing in the ACP extensions.

A link to my Homepage: http://www.saubaer-gaming.de/
The Homepage is on version 3.1.9 and uses about 15-20 other extensions which should not prevent another extension to work. Especially they woould not be able to prevent an extension to show up in the ACP

May anyone has a tipp or a solution for me i could try out to bring this super great extension up on my homepage?
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

Does the extension works if you set the language of your account to English?

Due to an unkown reason there is no possibility to change the
language of your users account. I searched a bit deeper and found out
that someone deleted the "en" language. The en pack is still visible in
the FTP but is not available to install. Neitherless everything to install
it is there. I will try to find a solution to this as soon as i can. Maybe
this will help then.

Get the en language pack from the latest download and install it. The en pack should not be removed.

You know what would be perfect; an extension that allows you to put Adsense ads on the allowed pages of phpbb
and an extension that allows you to disable the ads for separate users, for example those users who donated with PayPal.

Hi,

if you have uploaded the EN language file, normally in ACP >> Customize (Anpassen) >> Language pack (Sprachpakete) you will see the British English language pack.

You can remove the "en_us" directory, this is not the official language pack.

Exactly thats the problem. Theres is none option to activate any lagnauge pack at all. No acp entry

Edit: found the problem. I checked the integrity of the Forum. Found out that something was wrong with the acp settings in the FTp itself. I had to dig really deep to find this. I´ll try to fix this as soon as i can and continue reporting here when its done. But i want to say thanks to all dudes who tried helping me.

What is the content of your "en" directory ?
Have you tried to purge the cache ?

Skouat,

Question
My forum requires you post 3 posts before you are automatically removed from the 'newly_registered_users' group. The newly registered user has limited rights to forums and some forums are hidden.

If a newly registred user with less than 3 posts has donated, they are correctly set into the 'donated users' group with the IPN option. But they are left in the 'newly_registered_users' group (the group is not standard for them, but they are in it). This causes that they have some limitations due to being in that newly user group.

Is it possible to check if the users are in this 'newly_registered_users' group and remove them completely from this group?

i did see that in the ipn_listener.php file you do a group_user_add when transaction is complete. I presume a call to 'group_memberships' function and 'group_user_del' function should be sufficient to achieve this? :?:

Language has been changed to british english (en) and cache has been purged.
No changes detected. Also no possibilities to set the ext in the acp :)

@entonox: Why not. But before I'm waiting the feekback from the Extension Team.

@H34dbanger: As the extension use ACP permissions and as you have facing to an issue with your language pack, please try to purge the extension and to enable it again.
Do not forget to check/set the permissions.

Deleted the extension, checked the en language pack, then installed the ext again.
Extension installation was a succes but still no possibilities to change anything via acp.
