thank you very much. I have been struggling for days to figure out a way to make the logout redirect to the board3 portal page. this works perfectly once you figure out the actual link to use.

thanks again,

robert

What about an option also for logout login?

And a redirect the user to the page from where has login?

logout is what this is for.

when you click logout from any link in phpbb it redirects you to the index.php page for the board.

if you have the portal extension installed, you do not normally want the logout to take you to the board index.php but to the portal page.

I managed to make the login go to the portal page without needing a extension. right now, I forget exactly what I did.

Obviously I meant LOGIN. A Freudian error.

I am not interested about portals of any sort. ;)

So, how do you use it? I've tried just about every configuration.
I also found another post on redirecting which seems pretty simple if it will still works...

It looks like the Customization Database is only partly available at the moment. You can download the extension directly from GitHub, the CDB should always be the preferred source though.

Download v1.0.1 from GitHub: https://github.com/kasimi/phpbb-ext-log ... v1.0.1.zip
How to install extensions: https://www.phpbb.com/extensions/installing/
After installation you can configure it in ACP, Extensions, Logout Redirect.

I'm closing this topic now as this extension has already been validated. Please use the support section in the CDB if you need more help:

https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/exte ... _redirect/
