Re: [RC] Autolinks 1.0.18

Very good idea.

The links are now created with a double class, postlink, the usual class of phpBB links, and autolinks, which is an empty class in an empty autolinks.css file, loaded in the viewtopic template.. Put whatever you want there.

I would be happy to know the kind of styles you would use for that.

Version 1.0.18 uploaded to github.

Fantastic, thanks!!!!

I am using that class, which is rather fancy, designed by me :)

Code: Select all

a.autolinks:link,
a.autolinks:hover,
a.autolinks:visited,
a.autolinks:active
{
    text-decoration: none;
    border-bottom:1px dotted red;
    box-shadow: 0px 0px 10px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.1);
    color: black;
    transition-property: text-shadow;
    transition-duration: 0.5s;
    transition-timing-function: ease;
    transition-delay: 0s;
    background-color: white;
}

Fine.

This is a good idea for users of the extension.

A fine way to extend the extension according to your needs.

Maybe small checkbox in cofiguration for "Open link in new window" ?
Second thing is default ASC sorting of terms in configuration?

Re: [RC] Autolinks 1.0.19

Post by pierredu » Fri Aug 19, 2016 3:40 pm

Well, here we are.

I uploaded a new version 1.0.19 on github with both new features (target = blank) and sorting of terms/urls in the table. A clic sorts in the reverse order, quite classically.

Caution for users of languages other than english and french, I added two language keys:

Code: Select all

'AUTOLINK_BLANK'				=> 'Use target=\'_blank\' for the links',
'AUTOLINK_BLANK_EXPLAIN' => 'Check this option if you want to open the automatic link in a new window.',
Thanks in advance for your comments.

Hello,

how to prevent overwriting content of autolinks.css when extension is upgraded?
Maybe content can be stored in DB and defined via admin pannel?

When adding new term form fields could be over the terms table.

Yes, both points would be possible.

However, at some point in the time, one has to say that it is enough for the current version. Let us say it is feature frozen.

I already have several extensions in the validation queue. I don't want to be rude and ask for all extensions deemed to be ready.

Yeah, it is working now for me. Weird. It wasn't before. I was checking and unchecking the box multiple times and it just wasn't having any effect.
I'm having this problem again, unfortunately. Checking and unchecking the all forums box just has no effect on the individual forum box.

EDIT: Again, it's back to normal. Again, with no apparent reason. Never mind.
