is there anyway you can check to see if the administrator (me lol) is the one running your
script and reject all others that try to run it?
There is a check if FOUNDER or ADMIN, if somebody else registered at your board logs-in will be immediately redirect to a nice screen telling him that he/her does not have administrative privileges to run the script and the script auto destroys itself. (You need to leave in place the second remove_me, at line 441 at the present time)

Code: Select all

else
{
    /* If logged in without the right permissions, stop everything and self-destroy */
    trigger_error('You don\'t have permission to access the database and files. You need to be logged in as a founder or administrator.');
    remove_me();
}
ah I missed that
thanks

trigger_error() stops executing your script, I think you want to call remove_me() before that.

Correct, good catch. Thank you. :)

Code changed to

Code: Select all

else
{
    /* If logged in without the right permissions, stop everything and self-destroy */
    remove_me();
    trigger_error('You don\'t have permission to access the database and files. You need to be logged in as a founder or administrator.');
}
Later I will update the gist.

Is it possible to make it that we just can copy it and just place it here in a new topic with everything in bb-code style?

  2. check for json
  3. check for getimagesize
  4. available stream wrappers
  5. re-defined phpBB version constants
  6. introduced error checking tested in dramatic situations
  7. backported the original function phpbb_version_compare for those running phpBB less than 3.0.10-rc1
  8. Succesfully checks if not compatible styles are uploaded

  • add nice UI
  • add facility to copy/paste with BBcodes

Well, I still can't get this to work. When I load the file I get this.

Code: Select all

[phpBB Debug] PHP Warning: in file [ROOT]/phpbb/datetime.php on line 156: array_filter() expects parameter 1 to be array, null given
[phpBB Debug] PHP Warning: in file [ROOT]/phpbb/datetime.php on line 120: strtr(): The second argument is not an array
I did create a ticket and no response. https://tracker.phpbb.com/browse/PHPBB3-14578

So, what all of this have to do with this script? :roll:

I replied to your PM at those times suggesting you to open a ticket, the same you above linked.
Try bumping that ticket, I am not a phpBB core's developer. ;)

Try switching your PHP version to 5.5 (into your cPanel) and try again. I suspect it's related.

Else install onto a demo board the 3.0.2-rc1 phpBB version and try with PHP7.

The last options I can think of are:
is your phpBB's "vendor" folder CHMODed to 0755?
All of the phpBB install's folders are correctly CHMODed?

Ask the support if you don't know about that.

Regards. :)

I am running PHP 5.5. I will try this in Xampp and see what happens. My host is pretty good at the chmods, but I'll double check.

Edit- Tried PHP 5.6 and got the same issue. I checked chmod and those were all fine. My error_log is always filled with this data and time twig thing. This does work in Xampp. I'll bump my ticket.

How do you bump? I just added a comment. Does that bump the ticket?

Hi,

the link in first post doesn’t work, is there a new forum where we can download the script?

Baiscally you have some style that's not for the phpBB version you are running.
This script has not been tested on PHP 7.1 >= (side note)

The SQL error was fixed at some point though, I believe I supplied a wrong URl in the OP, here is the last version: https://gist.github.com/3D-I/3dd7e3f7bf ... 08bad3.zip

Topic starter fixed.
Let me know. Thx for feedback
