Yeah, there isn't much I can do in the way of permissions. I could probably post a guide, but they follow phpBB's permission system.
Can there be an easier way to set the permissions up, please? A small guide would help for sure I think.
Thanks,

A guide will be posted as soon as I get a chance to document and screencap everything. I'm still developing this which is why I haven't provided such documentation yet (features can change, be removed, added, etc). A quick "run down":
  • Enable extension
  • Edit the forum(s) you want this feature enabled for and tick the radio button to "yes"
  • Edit the permissions of those forums for each group you want to be able to use this feature
  • Edit the moderator permissions of those forums for each group you want to be able to use this feature (if they are not the topic starter)

Guess what everyone - https://github.com/kinerity/bestanswer/releases

Please test it extensively! I've tried to cover as many test cases as possible, but you all will be the ones to put it through it's paces. As always, if you find something, post back here.

Updated to latest version, and i don't get any error.

Also et language no need corrections at moment, atleast i didn't get it any feedback that i should change something.

You should think also add feature that answered topic has a image check symbol instead text "answered".

Aha! Thanks very much! I shall do some testing...

Been using another extension, but it doesnt include a "Number of Solved" topics in the mini profile, so keen to see if this works :D

Thanks

I've decided I'm not going to be incorporating these features into this extension for 2 reasons:
  • It's in RC stage, which means no new features.
  • Adding these features increases the complexity of this extension far more than I had imagined. It's already quite bigger than I originally planned.
As for the closing topic option, users can be giving the permission to close topics in phpBB already. It makes no sense to reinvent the wheel. There was a feature that was added that if a topic is closed, the answer can't be changed expect for someone with the moderator permission (these lines and these lines).

One of the features that was planned was not in the first initial RC (forgot to push the commit, it was saved locally). Updated to RC2.
