After I enabled the Portal, I got this error: Fatal error: Redefinition of parameter $helper in \ext\stoker\portal\event\main_listener.php on line 52

I got the same error and also was not able to find this extension inside the active list to disable it. Need to go to PHPMyadmin to shutdown. I was doing an update from 1.03 to the latest. Maybe this helps finding this error.

Got this too. Fix:

Open event/main_listener.php and look for:

Code: Select all

public function __construct(\phpbb\config\config $config, \phpbb\controller\helper $helper, \phpbb\template\template $template, \phpbb\user $user, $php_ext, \phpbb\controller\helper $helper, \phpbb\collapsiblecategories\operator\operator $operator = null)
Notice how

Code: Select all

 \phpbb\controller\helper $helper,
appears twice? Remove one instance and refresh your board. No need to hard-disable extension.

I personally had to remove

Code: Select all

\phpbb\collapsiblecategories\operator\operator $operator = null
as well.

Yes, there are a couple of dummies in that file.
Find:

Code: Select all

public function __construct(\phpbb\config\config $config, \phpbb\controller\helper $helper, \phpbb\template\template $template, \phpbb\user $user, $php_ext, \phpbb\controller\helper $helper, \phpbb\collapsiblecategories\operator\operator $operator = null)
Replace with:

Code: Select all

public function __construct(\phpbb\config\config $config, \phpbb\controller\helper $helper, \phpbb\template\template $template, \phpbb\user $user, $php_ext, \phpbb\collapsiblecategories\operator\operator $operator = null)
Find and delete second instance of this:

Code: Select all

$this->helper = $helper;
Also the service.yml delete third instance of this:

Code: Select all

- @controller.helper
