Great extension and it's something I had been waiting a long time for, certainly makes my life a lot easier!!
Happy which ever way you choose to go, the main function of reminding inactive users is what I initially was looking for and is the main requirement I (personally) need, anything else is just a bonus.
We have been using this EXT for a couple of years now. I think it's an awesome EXT.
Having said that, I think it's more important what you want to do, andreask. After all, this is volunteer work. If it's better for you to start over, so be it.
Hi, I'm using IUM also and would not have any problem to start with the date from the scratch!
But I've now a problem deleting inaktive users:
I've created a test-user who receives the mail: "... We're verry sorry, but your account has been deleted! …" but he is not deleted.
This function I have enabled after they have already criterion met.
Could you please check the logs, and if you see any relevant errors let me know.
You can find the text for the deletion notification here... language/en/email/admin.txt and language/en/email/auto.txt
Could you please also make a screenshot of the "IUM configuration"?

If you would like to buy me a bier for my work I will drink it on a hot summer day and thank you!!!
Thanks for the location of the notification, have translate ant put to /de/
I have switched to English and have seen (first time) the meaning of colors in the inactive list.
So, I recognize “Green” as auto-ignored for the test user, but I’ve no idea how?
The ACM translation seems to be incomplete, isn’t it? Maybe I could help you since I’m a native German-speaker.
Where is the to get the “Deleting approval list”, I only see Ignore Management.
Which logfiles (where to find) would useful to check, the standard user logfiles have no hints.
Ah yes...
If the translations are not updated you will see incorrect information.
If you would like to help with the translation of German you are most welcome!
And I thank you for your help!
About the "auto ignore", it is because the test user have received 3+ notifications.
After the third notification, the user is ignored automatically so he does not get spammed with e-mails.
And if you set the auto delete function the user should be deleted (At least on my test runs it always happens).
The errors logs should be in Maintenance -> Error logs
Usually if there is mistake in a query or something that did not "run" correctly should be there.
If you don't find anything, try deleting the test user on your own from the "Deletion approval list".
And see what happens then.

Ah! thats because you have chosen not to approve the requests for deletion...
If you enable the option Require approval for self delete requests, you will see the rest of the screen as well...
What is the "Request Type" of the test user?

OK, I have it. Was not quite Logical for me since test-user has never requested self-deletion.
I will start over to see if automatic deletion will work.
No, the approval is for all kind of delete requests, not just for self deletion.
