Gentlemen, please. There is no reason for arguments here.
Everybody is helping on their extend as much as they can.

Let's keep this topic relevant to the ext.
:)

ScottyPC.

I believe I have successfully pinpointed the problem and I will try to fix asap.
Would you be willing to try out some of my fixes when they'll be ready?
As always they will not affect your board (no data will be modified).
And the only thing that you will have to do if and when I have something for you (testing) you will have to install it, without deleting any existing data from the already installed ext. So it will not affect your already notified users.
Because this is something that it is not easy to reproduce locally.

Thank you all for your help! :)
Ah Wonderful! Yes we will give it a try tomorrow! ;)

Andreask,

From my testing in a live environment, I think IUM is very close to RC. Once the issue of adding newly qualified users to the IUM list is fixed- which I believe will happen today.

I think the only functionality things left are

1. The users per page issue. I'm not sure how phpbb handles pagination. But I suppose you could just set 25 or less per page(I know that works from testing)
2. Adding multiple users to the ignore list - ( I think you fixed that locally)
3. Displaying a "Total Users" at the bottom of the IUM list so admins do not have to manually count each day.

I understand some folks want ACP access to edit the text in the 2 emails- eh, thats really a preference IMHO...in reality a user is only going to edit those once in a great while (probably only once ever). Either way a simple task to complete, so not a big issue. You could probably add that down the road.

It's funny if you read thru the extensions in development forum...a developer starts out with a project, and within no time at all everyone wants it to be a swiss army knife - capable of everything.

Let me know when you have the above fix for me to try - if it works maybe you could update the current download with the above fixes in place and I will give that a go as well....from there I can't see a reason not to go RC. (of course you may still have some users with other ext. conflicts etc, but you won't know till then).

Hello,

Even though the day was quite busy...
I managed to do some constructive work.

I was right about pinpointing the problem. And I partially have already a solution for it.
But, it will have to take a little bit longer, 5-6 days (hopefully) till I release it.
I will however, give an early release to ScottyPC (as a bonus :P) for testing purposes.
But please allow me a couple of days so I can fix the fix of a fix that fixes some fixes! :D
ScottyPC you can disable the account, for now, and if needed you can enable it again. Or delete it completely.
Depending on the outcome.

This "problem" does not affect in any "bad" way your board. It just stops sending reminders. :D
That is why it is a beta version so far!
Thank you all for your help once again!

best regards,

Andreas.

Very good! :D

Yes, take some time to assemble things...cleanup code etc...I"m very excited to see this fully working and very happy for you...it's been a long road for you to get here, but it will be worth it.

I believe this extension is SO useful that I hope it will one day be incorporated into the PhpBB progam itself...it really is that useful.

Cheers,
Scotty

PS -Now go get some sleep! ;)

Hi,

Sorry but no.
Last month was not so friendly to me, a little bit with my health, my mother passed away.
So I don't have the will to work on anything right now :(

I'll try to work as soon as I get better...

Send e-mail to whom?
To the admin that a user has been deleted. Or the the user that his account has been deleted?
In any case, both are possible.
And probably both should be implemented. :)

It is very functional to tell members that they have been unsubscribed.
And you can tell that they can enroll if they want
