Yes it is, but very slowly...

I am working on another branch, that is why you don't see updates on the master.
I am looking for beta testers that are willing to help.
Some here faced problems that I cannot replicate...
So any help will make the project work faster.

Thanks!

I'll help beta-test anything that won't break my board. Let me know. ;)

It will definitely NOT break the board. :)
But some users here reported that on their boards users received reminders that shouldn't.
If that's ok with you, let me know.

That might be a problem for me. My board is new and not very active yet. I don't want to annoy the active users away. ;)

Hard to say...

Still have some code changes to do.
And of course constantly testing...

Unfortunately not much appetite to work on it..

Hello,

Update of the ext, anyone interested please download, you can find the link on the 1st post of this thread.

Highlights...

Template:
Now you can change the amount of users that you can see per page in the Ignore/delete user list. Some minor template changes also in the "Inactive User List".

Functional:
Ability to choose 'reset counter' on selected user Or 'delete' in the Ignore/delete user list.
I rewrote the main query that makes the list of user to send the reminders, so now there should be NO problem like the ones that Hartenheer described.

Let me know if anyone gets any problems...
If there won't be any problems, next update will be the RC...
So please help me to make it happen! :)

Thanks again!

- exluding forums does not work for me, still all forums are included

- when the second reminder will be send to inactive? After set time (30 days or different) comes again (so 30, 60 90 days)?

Inactive is the user that has not been activated (registered but never logged in) for the set amount of time in the ext.
Sleeper is the user that logged in at least 1 time and has not logged in for the set amount of time in the ext.

Yes correct, if the setting is for 30 days then the user if has not logged in for 30 days will receive his 1st reminder (no matter his status inactive/sleeper).
After that if the user will not log in he will receive the next reminder respecting the setting of ext 30 days, so 2nd reminder in 30(+) days after 1st reminder. 3d and last reminder again after 30(+) days from 2nd reminder.
If the user will login after any 1st or 2nd reminder the counter of reminders will reset. But if the user login after the 3d reminder counters will reset but he also will be ignored for future reminders, So you have to manually remove the user from the ignore user list.

Thank you!

Wouldn´t be even better to have more templates and each time send one different?

For example, if someone is missing 30 days, i would not even mention, that he is missing, and instead send him hand-picked list of few best topics on forum. (He doesn´t care about traffic of the board, he cares about value that the board can provide to him.) It is smoother.

If it would not work and he would be missing for 60 days, then i would send more aggressive mail (Where have you been/We are missing you...) and after 90 days even more (Why are you hating me?).

Or something else, just trying different things... Because if this mail didn´t work for the first time, what´s the chance that it will work for second time?
