Anyone interested to do a testdrive my RC2?

You will have to completely remove the old one (with the data AND files) and install the new one.
I am still testing it but not very actively. So if someone is interested let me know!

Thanks!
Here is what I am working on right now...

You do not actively work on it or the test has not yet been actively tested.
I have a fairly new forum.

IUM also works great on my previous forum
What does the new add?
Sorry English is not my native language

Well I did all what was requested by phpbb so to pass the 1st validation point...
I had to change where the information will be stored (tables), so because of that I had to rewrite ALL the queries...
This suppose to make the ext lighter/faster...
Also some changes that I can't really remember now... some visual some functional...

New translations are needed, that's for sure.

I've done and tested what ever I could think of... but it's better be safe than sorry... :)
So more tests would be nice!

Hi andreask

I have the RC version running on a version 3.2.2 development board, seems to work perfectly well. Hard to test though as the number of days before a 'sleeper' is set cannot be set below 10. However looks to be a first class extension, with excellent ACP facilities.

If it proves stable I will install on my 'live' board.

Will keep you advised.

All the best

Hi again

Question: what is the timing of the 3 reminder e-mails please ?, I assume that they are sent at the same intervals as the 'sleeper' timer, e.g. every 30 days or whatever time is set; is this correct ?

You have some minor typos on the ACP screens:

IUM Configuration

User is able to self delete:
If enabled, a link to a page "board_url/ium/{random_key}" will be in0cluded to user and they will be able to self delete their acount.

Days after:
Ammount of days to wait until auto delete a user after the requested day

Ignore/Delete Approval List

Group Management
Here you can selecet which groupd(s) should be ignored by the extension. Please note that even though they are not selected here,
BOTS, ADMINISTRATORS, MODERATOROS and GUESTS are ignored. But it is still suggested to select the groups here as well!

All the best

Hello,

If anyone is willing test the rc2, here is the link.
Please note that old version ext has to be completely removed prior to install the new one!

* Fixed typos

Please let me know your findings!

Thank you once again!

Hi Andreas

Re the Sleeper e-mail text. I am modifying the en template without difficulty to adapt it to our specific needs. If I wish to create a sleeper.txt file in another language, can I simply copy the existing en folder, update the sleeper.txt file into the new language and save it in the ext language folder with the appropriate name, e.g. es for Spanish, or is it more complicated than that? I have not worked on language files previously.

Yes just copy the EN folder, and rename it to your own language. You can then edit the files with notepad++. NEVER edit PHP files with just the standard Windows notepad!
