something else about mails : I've choosen to give the member the possibility to self cancel his account (after administrator approval)
I don't find in the mail any "board_url / ium / {random_key}" to ask cancellation.

Test e-mail to you or another account?

The test e-mail will not receive any links to self delete.
I have to fake it and I haven't done any work on this so far.
Perhaps on future releases someday.

Otherwise the user should receive it normally.

I like this extension very much and just want to suggest to mention the user-name explicitly in the e-mails sleeper.txt and inactive.txt.
For example like

In my board it used to happen quite often that people received the reminder and did not recognise their user name as such from subject and the greeting line; for example because they used their real names or real nicknames. This used to end up in unneccessary questions.
Of course I have already changed my texts in this way, but thought it might be useful for others, too.

Somehow I got lost between the versions. My version was quite old (1.0.0. from 2016) and while installing 1.1.8, the old data about sent reminders have been deleted.
Is it possible to simply restore the database table? I found phpbb_ium_reminder in my database, but restoring it seems to have no effect on the list in the acp.

Plus the template is free to modify at your discretion. Just remember to backup before you update the ext because any changes will be overwritten.

This will be scheduled for the next major version update. Probably after the phpbb validation processes.

All the data moved from phpbb_ium_reminder table to phpbb_users table so you'll have to import the missing data from phpbb_ium_reminder to phpbb_users. Please be careful doing this. And good luck! If you need assistance let me know!

That is true, but the problem is, that some users do not recognise the greeting as the mentioning of their user name, for example if they use their real name or their common nickname. ("Hello Andreas...")
I have already changed my template, thank you - I just wanted to keep others from the same question/problem.

Reimporting the table to another one looks tricky, I will try that (hoping, that I had not done another update in between that would mean my ium_reminder table is not up to date, but only something left from a previous installation).

I've tried to see if there is way to do what you ask (the quick and dirty way) but unfortunately currently it's not possible.
In the future I'll have to rethink the whole user picking process because right now it's on a very simplistic way.
And I already have a headache because of that!

Thank you very much for trying! If you did not get it to run, I won't try because I don't want to end up with my users table mixed up. I will set it on a period that should be acceptable at least for a single clean up.
One question s left:
Is the thable phpbb_ium_reminder still necessary when 1.1.8-RC is installed and running or can I delete it (as an accidental leftover from former installations)?
I am confused because evne my highest user-id seems to be part of ium_reminder-table, so it cannot be too old?
Maybe I did not understand you correctly?

@andreask: Please don't bother! I have alread reinstalled your extension and now it's my user's problems (First 700 reminders have already been sent 111 Mails could not be delivered in the first run...)

It look like "My Forums <forum@domain.net>".

But if i send reminder from your extension, i have only email address into "From:"
From: forum@domain.net
And it look like "forum@domain.net"

without forum name.
