Categories - problem solved. Thanks.
Another problem I found in "Right sidebar content.:". Again characters "??".
Why do languages use all that kind of special characters?
Fixed that one as well.

Guess I need to check all string input fields. I was under the impression that phpBB would handle everything just as UTF-8, but it seems I'm mistaken about that.

What I can do is allow those characters, using phpBB's built-in utf8_clean_string() function. It returns this for your article title:

Code: Select all

knižnice-návod-na-inštaláciu
That would suffice I guess?

I have a question. How to delete articles?
You can hide them through the edit function (checkbox below content area). I haven't made a permanent delete function yet.

Earlier I had a big problem. Your extension does not work with style; myInvision. This style is problematic.
I only provide styling for Prosilver and further everything is very generic. myInvision uses a completely different header, which means that you'd need to write a custom menu and sidebar structure.

Are you going to put the "delete" option?
Not in the current version, which is pending validation. Hiding is simple and does effectively the same for the visitors, while I would need to check and decide how to handle everything related to a deleted article.
It'll probably be one of the features for a next version though.

So I'm waiting impatiently!
Are you planning to include thumbnails articles? other than avatar? This is more professional.
You can select an excerpt image which has been uploaded previously.

OK, great job. I have another question.
Can you also convert article characters from "čšž" to "csz" in URL address? For example:
I have an article with a name "Knižnice - návod na inštaláciu".
The URL is displayed as ".../article/kni-nice-n-vod-na-in-tal-ciu?sid=...".
The url can be displayed as ".../article/kniznice-navod-na-instalaciu?sid=..."?
Hi, same request.
example with french language :
Title : MAJ Développement - Septembre : Recul, ADS, Nouvelle Map
URL : maj-d-veloppement-septembre-recul-ads-nouvelle-map => would like to see maj-developpement-septembre-recul-ads-nouvelle-map

Question :
I have posted 2 articles in 2 differents categories for testing but in ACP nothing is displayed, children is at 0, problem ?

Thanks.

Hi.
Just was going to try it. Using prosilver 3.2.1.
From where/How do you access to the Articles :D
Image
Btw I've got some style problems compare both(open in two next tabs or download)
ext that I'm using & are affected
- Category Background Image
nav bard just got bigger & icons + text(profile picture & username) got some space in between
Image Image
Anyway, although visual aspects.
How does it work?
I assume that the problem is at me. Maybe I've changed some style files & it's not working properly with this ext.
I'll not disable it yet if you want to check something & give me some hints about it.

It's nice, simple, functional & I really respect - Use the phpBB style system, drag & drop etc. I like it !
Thanks for it anyway : )

First article can be created from the ACP -> cmBB settings page.
Btw I've got some style problems compare both(open in two next tabs or download)
ext that I'm using & are affected
- Category Background Image
nav bard just got bigger & icons + text(profile picture & username) got some space in between

They probably use some same selector as cmBB does. Impossible to tell from here.
Thanks for it anyway : )

That is correct since you usually don't want an alias to change due to already created links from your forum (or outside your own website) or search engine indexes.

Once an alias is created, it's never changed.

Hi,
Ok for alias.
I pulled a french translation : https://github.com/GerB/cmbb/pull/9

-----
I currently use the newspage extension https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/exte ... _newspage/ and i follow the developpement of this extension with interest :)

Few ideas for a future version that some are in newspage :

- possibility to activate a pagination with a setting for number of pages to display more articles in index (if there are 30 articles and the number of articles to show on index is 5, so there is 6 pages..)
- show filters in index to find old articles by year/month with a dropdown menu or something like that
- possibility when editing or updating an article to change the date in order to display again at first on index
- possibility to display and post comments directly in the article page
- a second permanent alias not depending of title (if we change it) like article/"articlenumber"
- compatibility with recent_topics : I don't know if it depends of you or sajaki but a compatibility with rt https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/exte ... _topics_2/ will be nice.
I would like to display the article/index page as a homepage and display at the top of the article/index page the recent topics block which have some more informations (lenght of titre, number of posts, author and last post date) than the sidebar of your extension.

Thanks for your work.
