The only problem that i know is if you update from 2.1.1 to 2.1.2 it doesn’t work because the permission added in 2.1.2 doesn’t appear in permissions. You have to disable 2.1.1, delete date from extension, update files on your FTP, upload news files from 2.1.2 on your FTP and activate 2.1.2 version.

When I tried to duplicate that problem:
  1. Disable 2.1.1
  2. Delete data
  3. Delete old files from server
  4. Copy new 2.1.2 files over to server
  5. Enable tables ext
I can not duplicate your problem. And these steps above are the way you update. Added on first post.

NP Miri4ever I made a temporary fix to your language file on Github but you can update anytime.

Of course, you didn’t apply the update way but an uninstall and install ways. Usually, to update an extension, you have to disable extension, delete files on your FTP, upload the new files and activate the extension.

That’s why when i updated 2.1.1 version to 2.1.2 it didn’t work. ;)

I just got my Button missing without flash all entries. Extensions uploader normally doing everything fine without delete anything. Just missing the Button inside ACP but this is related to my editor, so no Problem at all.

Updated the files for you as oldstyle ZIP to PM.

@ Miri4ever got your de language files updated on Github and first post. Thank you!
I'll have to look into that editor of yours and add it. What extension is that?

Thank you guys! You have all contributed with your testing. Thank you!

It’s your special request especially to this case (updating 2.1.1 to 2.1.2) but usually to update an extension this is the way: https://www.phpbb.com/extensions/installing/#updating. ;)

Imagine if for all extensions you have to delete extension data, for big extensions you should to reconfigure all options, all permissions… That’s why delete data step isn’t a part of updating extension. ;)

Re: [RC] Tables

I try to get the complete table centered to the middle of the screen. It worked with the very old version with align center arround the table. But now it only sticks at the left side of the forum. I know it's maybe really hard to be done with lots of TR and TD commands inside.

For your question I use the RIN Editor here in devlepment. I think that some buttons missing inside ACP is coming from this version.

Did your borders arround the tables working with the new update aswell. Want to test those.

OK I'll find that RIN Editor around here and test it out with tables. It may need it's own event templates.

Yes borders are in this new version. I simplified the class names though.
Classes .btrbl, .btrb, .brbl and .brb - The first letter of each class is b for border.

The remaining letters are where you want the border in that cell.
In order: t for top, r for right, b for bottom and l for left
Example on using those borders are here.

As far as you centering your table you have to use tcenter in the table and center around the title.

Code: Select all

[center][size=130]Table tcenter with Borders[/size][/center]
[table=30,tcenter]
	[thead]
		[tr=textleft]
			[th=50,null]Title1[/th]
			[th=50,null]Title2[/th]
		[/tr]
	[/thead]
	[tbody]
		[tr=bg2]
			[td=btrbl,1]Text11[/td]
			[td=btrb,1]Text21[/td]
		[/tr]
		[tr=bg1]
			[td=brbl,1]Text12[/td]
			[td=brb,1]Text22[/td]
		[/tr]
	[/tbody]
[/table]

Will test this but it makes me another question. I got before this editor left / right / center bbcodes and those all replace by align tag. Now I'm having back a center bbcode inside my table. Does your tables produce this command ? I'm sure I deleted all those from my bbcodes list and it seems one extension has put them back.

And here in your commands center is back. That makes me guess that tables produce this code again.

Ok got it replace this NULL with TCENTER inside first commands doing the job fine.

Yes tables creates center, align and float.

I guess you could use align and get rid of center.
[align=center][size=130]Table tcenter with Borders[/size][/align] does the same thing.

I guess this ext does not need center either as long as align is there.
