Dear HifiKabin
Thank you for another nice extension. I am already a big fan of yours.

Why the image is giving rounded corners. and is it possible to stretch the image automatically in case the forum is wider than usual.

Thanks :mrgreen:

I rounded the corners to make it look the same as the prosilver header. To remove them

OPEN

hifikabin/headerbanner/styles/prosilver/theme/headerbanner.css

DELETE

border-radius:10px;

Upload and purge the cache

I deliberately haven't made the banner increase in size as it may become distorted/pixaliated etc. Far better to have an oversized banner in the first place that is then reduced to fit the screen size.

It might be but I am not certain. I'll have to do some checking but I'll get back to you.

EDIT:- DONE!

hi James, sorry for the late reply and Thanks for the amazing update.

here i have a search bar totally out of the forum width I am using prosilver_SE

if i switch to prosilver , The half of the search bar is out of the forum width and the other half is inside the header.

Thats what the result so far.

i tried to reduce the header banner width , but the result is same.

However, when placed on navbar. The search bar slightly increase the height of NavBar.

Yes, having the search in the NavBar will slightly increase its height.

The position of the search in the header is relative to the headers width, not the banners width. I haven't tried it with prosilver_se yet but to move the search in the header:-

OPEN

hifikabin/headerbanner/styles/prosilver/theme/headerbanner.css

FIND

Code: Select all

.search-overlay {
    position: absolute;
    z-index: 1;
    top: 60px;
    right: 10%;
}
and try adjusting the 10% value to a higher number. (higher number moves the search to the left)

save/upload/purge the cache

Maybe that should be a user defined variable to allow for different styles?

Please let me know how you get on and what you think about making the header search position user defined.

EDIT:- I have found the problem, the search is positioned relative to the browser width, not the header width. I will see where I have to adjust the code and upload a new version later.
