Setting the hours on 'Next Backup Time' is an hour slow

ie set 14 as the hour but it saves as 13

I must admit that I have had that happen, but never went back to. Once set it looks after itself anyway.

If you want 14 then set it to 15

Can you check what the timezone is set as in your php.ini file - there are two settings. Strangely in one place mine was set as Europe/Berlin - this was with Xampp and was the cause of the problem.

I don't understand that at all.

I am fairly confident that the problem is timezone related

I have set it to backup at 1730 today, and it didn't. Changing the times, frequency and method seem to make no difference.

No backups in store. No errors in error log.

phpBB 3.2.0 updated from RC2 which in turn was updated from RC1

PHP Version 7.0.14

Might be a "silly" question - but have you enabled it?

Works just fine on my clean install of 3.2 gold.

Yup, all enabled and set 'correctly' (well maybe) and nothing seems to be working. I have set the frequency to 1 hour and there is no difference.

I'll do some more testing and tweaking tomorrow

OK, I have been hitting testing it all yesterday and it is working, but it is not backing up as often as it is set to. I suspect the time issue is the, erm, issue.

If I set the 'next backup' time to (say) 12 hours, then save it refreshes as 11 hours.

If I just hit save again, it refreshes to 10 hours.

... and so on.

I am getting backups when the times 'meet in passing' as it were.

James - can you download it again - I have put a minor tweak in that should fix the "hour" problem (I hope)

Downloaded and installed fresh copy. No difference

Purged Cache (just in case) No Difference

Hitting submit without changing any data rolls the hour back by one
