Did you just update this extension? In my extension manager it says its outdated. When I click the download link to the new extension:

It says "404: Not Found"

Is there a mistake? Here's what I see in my Extension Manager:

Version: 2.1.0-RC10

That's my current version. It says the latest verison is Version: 2.1.0-RC11. But the download link doesn't work. Should I use the download link on the first post of this thread?

the other link doesnt work.

You need to rename autodbbackup-3.3 to autodbbackup

You can find attached, the French langage files for RC12.
Delete the .txt extension.

This extension uses vendor files that use 'continue'...

In php 7.3+ 'continue' will throw a warning:

Warning: "continue" targeting switch is equivalent to "break". Did you mean to use "continue 2"?

These should be replaced with continue 2.

For example a backup created on 13.12.2020 08:54:59
is named: backup_1607846068_7uf61gtxl3nhen7m.sql.gz

backup = is a prefix to indicate that it is a backup
1607846068 = is a Unix timestamp
7uf61gtxl3nhen7m = is just some random digits to ensure that the file is unique
sql.gz = file type

Is it possible to add the date to the name of the backup?

As you can see the date is already there in the file name and you will also have the date/time showing when the file was created. This follows the same naming convention that a backup made through the ACP uses.
