Re: [3.2][RC] Site Logo

Post by wonder_wonder »

Hi,
Is my first post in this forum, but I have phpbb3 for a some weeks installed.

I installed this extension, and really, its fantastic.

I configured with this extension new logo and Use a site background set to Yes.

Works fine but I view that: when I click in index of my forum or in some link of my forum, when my forum its loading, the first 0,x second appears the original logo of phpbb2 and then, appears the new logo.
Only its for 0.x second, every time, that the forum change the page.

About of Use a site background, its similar, when click in any link of my forum, when the forum load, first appears in blanck the site background and then, appears the configured colour, its like every time, first charge the default values of ACP and then load the values of this extension.

Regards.

PS: Sorry for my english.

Yes - you have not got the correct directory structure, you should have [board_root]/ext/david63/sitelogo/[files]

I now no longer support any of my extensions but they will start to become available here

[*]Added option to repeat background
Hi David, I updated to RC6 in my test environment, and enabled repeat - but I'm not seeing it. Here's my test environment:

I mod'ed site_logo_fn.js to achieve a repeat, here it is in my production environment:

Any ideas about what I might be doing wrong?

Thanks

Hi.
Is there supposed to be in ACP someplace to configure the site logo, if so I am not seeing it.
Installed fine with no errors.

Thanks

The far right tab in the ACP is for Extension Management. Click there, and if you've installed correctly, you should see a hyperlink on the left for Manage Site Logo.

I will try a reinstall of the ext, as I am not seeing that.

Did you just move the distribution into the extension folder? You have to rename it. The path to the files has to be exactly as David describes it above: [board_root]/ext/david63/sitelogo/[files]

No underscore, the path required is ext/david63/sitelogo/
