Hi, It's an excellent extension, but it asks me if you can hide content if you have not given thanks?

What content?

If it's extension content it's possible to implement that in future, when it's validated.

If it's forum content it's more difficult but sometimes possible, but I'll only implemement this if there're much people interested, as may come with a lot of work and maybe some performance hit, as more forum events need to be processed.

I already found an extension that works next to this, when you press the Thank you button, the text inside the bb code is unlocked. Thank you very much anyway.

Could you link that extension? May be useful for other people too.

Hello,

is there a way to completely hide the 'Has thanked, Been thanked' information beneath the avatars? 'Thanks counter' setting just puts the counters on zero.

As you are 2nd person to ask for this I have to recheck thi option and add it if not available.

By the moment, you can delete that leaving this file empty (delete its content but leave the file): <PHPBB_ROOT>/ext/gfksx/ThanksForPosts/styles/prosilver/template/event/viewtopic_body_postrow_custom_fields_after.html

menz01 wrote: Fri Mar 16, 2018 1:45 pm noticed something today that must be wrong or i have a setting wrong. when looking at my mini-profile (on every topic i post in, under my avatar is some profile info) there are two counters "Has thanked" and "Been thanked" and both shoe a count of "0" when i have been thanked and i have given thanks. it looks like this:

Image

personally.... i really would like to not show that in the mini-profile at all but i cannot find a setting to not display that. but since it is displayed, i would like to see why the counter is not counting?

thanks in advance
That's strange.... maybe something about cache, but shouldn't be...

I've checked on my own forum to see if something was wrong but it's prefect, this issue is not shown.

Could you provide a link to the forum?
its a private board and i am not allowed to provide any guest access. is there any way to make it not show in the mini-profile? that would should be the "easy button" in my opinion

Fixed this issue in new release, 3.2.10 (you don't need to edit files manually now):

- PGSQL enhancenments by https://github.com/id-tarzanych
- FIX: Post's Miniprofile show counters

Available, as always, here: https://github.com/Naguissa/thanks_for_posts/releases

Cheers!

Hi there!

@Палыч

Thanks a lot for your excellent extension!

Will you plan to add dislike functionality to it?

Maybe in a long distant future, but I have to check Tapatalk support for it (I think it doesn't have; maybe I could change it to like/dislike -now using tanks-, but I'm still trying to validate etension -very slow process-).

If you are thinking of changing it from Thanks to Likes that would probably make sense.

I've now had this running and working for a bit over 2 months on my 3.2.2 board. I am using it as a "like" instead of "thanks" feature (I amended the relevant language files). Everything is going smoothly and the feature has been very well received and utilised by users. Two thumbs up!
