Hi @Galixte de EzCom

please are you can to do test in my test forum?

Demo URL: https://sites.minnasuki.com/pb4/
Demo Username: test
Demo Password: test123

my plan is replace the At.js used in Simple mentions extension with tribute.
https://github.com/zurb/tribute

so are you can to do test if issue reported using Simple mentions extension gone totally or reduced?

thanks.

0.2.13-beta Released

If you using 0.2.1-beta or before you must unistall and "Delete the extension’s data" before upload 0.2.12-beta files.

This extension is in the beta stage, keep in mind that it is only for test propose, not use beta stage extension in live forum.

Bug Fix:
- js error "quick_quote is not defined" https://github.com/martec/Rin-Editor_fo ... /issues/25

Enhancement:
- replaced at.js used in Simple mentions extension with tribute (https://github.com/zurb/tribute ). Hope this replacement fix issue like https://github.com/martec/Rin-Editor_fo ... /issues/34

Other:
- removed support for quickedit extension (because of some error in console and doesn't work correctly with tribute)
- removed autocomplete drop-down for emojis

Hi @martec. Firstly - thanks for this extension, it's superb.

I'm wondering whether you can help me with something. I am trying to get a dark rin editor running in phpbb with my theme of choice.

I have managed to do this with two other themes: the standard pro-silver and a theme call Digi. I've done this by installing a ckedit theme into [root]/ext\rin\editor\styles\all\template\js\skins. Skin here:

https://ckeditor.com/cke4/addon/moono-dark

Then I set it up in the extension settings. Unfortunately, I can't post images (phpbb??) but I set up as below:

Choose Style: Digi
Skin for Digi: moono-dark
Text Area Color for Digi: [Yes]

this gives em a dark mode Rin Editor!

However, if I choose any child versions of Digi, I loose the ability to set "Skin for.." and "Text Area Colour" (they just disappear from options). You tube vid below:

https://youtu.be/3LbGsqC4hjY

It also doens't work for the parent style for my theme of choice ("Flat Style") (here: https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/style/flat_style/)

Is there any way to get this working? Don't mind delving into databases or code...

The options are now there, but they don't seem to be saving. Video:

Not sure if it's some settings save issue or the theme

probably because you are using cache setting of the plugin.
set to 0 in cache setting of the extension and disable, Delete data, Enable extension again, and to do setiings again.

only setting the cache "After fully configured"

by the way - can you use CKEditor plugins with this?

you are welcome.
and thanks for donation. :P

about plugin of ckeditor, unfortunately not. reason of this because major part of plugin of ckeditor has compatibility issue with bbcode plugin of ckeditor.

Hi,
  1. Version-Check is not working!
  2. Is it possible to hold customer icons in “styles\all\template\js\icons\” when update?
  3. Do not replace selected text
Set to yes if you do not want that selected text is replaced when the custom button is triggered.
Ps. Enabling this function may result in some bugs.
How does this work? How to write BBCode that replace will work?

Hello - me again. I'm the one who keeps busting your stuff!

Another snag. As above, trying to get a dark themed rin editor working across my board. Works fine for myself as the main admin. However, it doesn't work for regular users - they get the light version of the rin editor despite them getting the 'forced' dark theme correctly.

On an aside - why can't I attach images on here - I had a number showing you the issue and my settings, but couldn't post them!

In your settings:
Cache - 0
Style: FlatStyleDarkGreen
Skin: moono-dark
text area..dark: Yes

In Board settings:
Defualt Style: FlatStyleDarkGreen
GuesStyle: FlatStyleDarkGreen
Override user style: Yes

Any ideas?

you doesn't need delete the rin extension folder when you are update the extension. you can overwrite.
of course in ACP you need disable and enable the rin editor extension after update.

if you have spoiler custom tag.

- with the "Do not replace selected text" enabled

if you select the text "pinguim" and click in spoiler custom buttom will result in

[spoiler]pinguim[/spoiler]

- with the "Do not replace selected text" disabled

if you select the text "pinguim" and click in spoiler custom buttom will result in

[spoiler][/spoiler]
