This extension tells you the number of votes from guests. I am not sure if that answers your question.
Can it for example prevent multiple voting from the same IP address? Mechanism that helps to prevent the same guest from voting multiple times, at least by using the same device/IP address.

The extension uses a cookie based guest tracking, but it is not bulletproof because cookies can be deleted by the user. IP address is not used, but it is the same, it can be changed.

A guest can vote more than once if he/she uses the same device with different browsers, is it?

Yes, each browser uses its own cookies.

The only way to guarantee there is no repeat voting in polls is for them to be open to forum members only, that are logged in.

Hi jasolo,

How can I allow just some specific user (not an admin or moderator) to be able to see hidden poll results? I.e., They should be able to see results at any time while the rest of the members can't.

In User Forum Permissions select the user and the forums with the polls to enter into Setting permissions page. Then click on Advanced Permissions link and change the options in the Polls tab.

How to change the number of characters for the advanced polls title? I want to make it longer than 100 characters.

Also, how to break long lines for a poll option without creating another poll option?

Why, when I edit the poll, it refuses to accept changes, the year forcefully goes back to 0, giving the error Specified date/time is invalid?

The limit for the poll title should be 255 characters, as the default phpBB polls. Check first these topics about problems with 100 characters with the default polls. They are for outdated versions of phpBB, but can be helpful:
viewtopic.php?f=46&t=2160937
viewtopic.php?f=46&t=2092949

Breaking long lines could be possible using a bbcode that internally uses the <br> tag, but I haven't tried it.

Can you post a screenshot of the poll that refuses to accept changes?

Since 3.2.8 the max is 100 characters, see: https://github.com/phpbb/phpbb/pull/5647

That's to prevent errors like The poll title must contain fewer than 100 characters thrown by PHP.

Firstly, when editing it forces the year to 0:

When I replace 0 with the correct year and end date specified, nor the preview button neither submit button will work:

The only option, for now, is to delete the poll and create a new one!

In User Forum Permissions select the user and the forums with the polls to enter into Setting permissions page. Then click on Advanced Permissions link and change the options in the Polls tab.
I did this and still I cannot see votes hidden for others!

The hidden information does not appear by default, you must click the small button at the right of the line below the poll title (in the next example is "Score these creations"):

Thank you. I have seen that, but it only works for moderators and admins.
