They're not supposed to be, and they're not in my install.

I tested your Ext now with me but unfortunately no e-mail was posted in the forum nor a message. All settings are set to yes.

So no notification email was sent at all? Are you sure board-wide emails are enabled? Do you receive notification emails when disabling this extension?

The e-mail board are active when posting in the forum or personal messages come but no notifications. In the phpbb notifications I have deactivated the e-mail function. What kind of email should I get?

It's working now? That's good to hear. How did you fix it?

Finally installed this and it works great, kind of...

The problem I am facing is, when this ext is enabled, I will get an initial email and if I follow the link provided in the email, it will take me to the new post since my last visit. But it doesnt clear the notification so if I dont manually clear my notifications and anyone else replies I will not get another email until I clear the notifications.

If I disable the ext and get the standard phpbb email, following the link provided will automatically clear the notification for that topic so new replies will get another email without having to manually clear the notifications. And sadly, this is a big issue for me as not all of my members will or are super tech savy and may not know or remember to clear their notifications and might not get any more emails until they do so.

I hope this makes sense and hopefully there is a way to fix this. Other then this issue, its great to have this extension back.

Hello primehalo,

Thanks for your work in this code. I am looking forward for the RC of this extension.

Is it possible to have this extension with group permissions? I'd like to have this kind of notification in my forum just for the moderators, in order to moderate all messages posted in their related forums.

Kind regards,

I believe I got this fixed. I uploaded v1.0.0 beta 3 so give it a try and see if it works.

I can understand the desire for this but it's not a feature I want to spend time trying to figure out how to add.

Another issue, while the post/reply notification gets cleared now, if you follow the link in the email for a PM, they are not getting cleared and you have to clear it manually.

Thanks for this extension :)
Also can you add version check? Otherwise it is difficult to know when a new version is available.

p.s. How can I send translation?

I have encountered a bug - if the message includes emoji it crashes when trying to send the notification.
