Hi, first thanks for this extension :)

I have one problem, some of my users didn't accepted policy, but they are using forum and posting. One of them told us that he didn't have to accept anything.

Do you know maybe what is the problem? Thank you
Have you set "Force Privacy acceptance" to Yes?
Yes, I set it to Yes

Thank you for the answers.

Only you would know the answer to that
I found the answer on local blog about GDPR. There is written that the GDPR protects the data of EU residents and it doesn't matter where they are processed or who process them.
As I understand it, it means that if I process data of EU residents I have to comply with the GDPR.

I have added an option in the next release to anonymise the IPs on posts...
Nice, looking for the new version.

Have you checked in the ACP > Users & Groups > User utilities whether they have accepted the policy or not?

Yes, I checked. There are some users that have not accepted policy and they are using forum without restrictions. I contacted one user and he told us that he didn't get anything to accept.

I have this extension in 2 forums. In one of them, I may see my used IP address in UCP. In the other one, I cant, its empty. Any idea about where problem is?

Maybe because his session was still alive? (guessing) Try clicking purge all sessions from the ACP. That will log out all users by truncating the session table, they will have to log in again then.

Just had a thought - are they accessing your board via Tapatalk? If not then how do they access the board?

No idea - the extension is only collecting the data in the database. Do you have any other extensions installed?

There is an italian translation?
And, would this work with Oneall social login?

I have been doing some investigations and there is definitely as issue with Tapatalk which would appear to be not only incompatible with this extension but I suspect may be incompatible with many other extensions.

I doubt that Tapatalk will make any changes any time soon and really, in my opinion, is another nail in the coffin for Tapatalk.

If you want you can use the italian translations I made by myself through the extension settings in the ACP.
Here is the zipped file with the 4 text files needed: Policies IT

Basically what you have to do is to go through the ACP to the Privacy policy extension settings "Edit Language Data", select "Italiano", and replace completely the text (and save) of each of the 4 different texts included with the corresponding one (same title) given in my zipped file..

Then on your board, depending on the guests (when they want to register) or already registered users language choices, the policies should be diplayed in the correct language, like in my board All about POD HD500/X which is english based but is hosted in Italy (and I'm italian)..

Unfortunately, until now, AFAIK, there is no way to display in languages other than english also the intial acceptance banner on the top of the screen.

Although I really tried to do my best, I do not feel responsible for the goodness of my translations.

I hope I was somehow helpful.
Ciao
