btw - how to install the extension - °?!

BTW Take into account that this is an extension in development and using it on a live site is at your own risk. Install and test on a testboard first.

Nice Extension. Thanks for working so hard.

Question: Are there other language packs... like Dutch/NL for example?

Not quite - Tapatalk is incompatible with this extension, and always will be.

Hi. Is it possible to still display the "Register" / "Login" buttons in the navbar, when Cookie policy is enabled?
Basically, I'm getting a lot of reports from users that they can't find the "Login" or the "Register" button. Of course it appears after clicking on the "Accept cookies" button in the pop-up notification, but still it's a bit annoying to explain it to everyone.
All settings, except the first 2 fields are set to "No" in the extension settings. I'm using version 3.1.0-RC2.

first of all: many many thanks for the great extension - i really like what i see in the anouncement - i must have this extension!!! ;)
the most interesting thing is this sentence: Upload the unzipped files to [board root]/ext/david63/privacypolicy and enable it in the ACP

what i did is the following

_ i uploaded it to

www.my-domain.com/ext/

by the way: it is named:

php_privacy

so all looks like

www.my-domain.com/ext/php_privacy/privacypolicy-3.3

but belive it or not: nothing is shouwing up in the ACP-Admin area

we have it like so:

www.my-domain.com/ext/php_privacy/privacypolicy-3.3

and in the ext_folder i have (besides this the)

/ext/phpbb/viglink

to sume it up: what makes me wodering

here in the main article to the great extension we can read
viewtopic.php?f=456&t=2464776

installation-steps:
- Download the latest release and unzip it.
- Upload the unzipped files to [board root]/ext/david63/privacypolicy and enable it in the ACP

really _ do i need to create such diretories in the ext/folder - with david63 and so forth"?

love to hear from you

You must create a folder david63
ext - david63 - privacypolicy - extracted content (e.g. for 3.3 downloaded from github remove -3.3 and add it into the david63 folder)

You can allways find it in the composer.json on first line "name": "david63/privacypolicy",
The first is for the folder name in the folder ext. The second is for the folder name in the first folder respective in this case david63.

Yes, absolutely or else it won't show and you won't be able to install it.

Hello,

First of all thank you for this great extension, it is a life saver in EU.

Hopefully a simple question:

>> Is it possible to run a script when the cookie consent is agreed (and thus the _ca cookie set)

I would like to run this Javascript each time a page loads. Depending on the _ca cookie set or not I need to run:

Code: Select all

(adsbygoogle=window.adsbygoogle||[]).pauseAdRequests=0;
or

Code: Select all

(adsbygoogle=window.adsbygoogle||[]).pauseAdRequests=1;
I traced it to the "listerener.php" >"check_cookie($event)" but from there it is unclear how I could run a Javascript as the page being PHP.

Maybe there is a better possibility?

Info: The described Javascript must be called to unpause (GDRP) the Adsense Ads (and cookies) set via the wonderful "Advertisment Management" extension untill cookie consent.

Again a big thank you for your work and support. I'm so happy that after 2 years (due to GDPR) I can open my forum again (once this little issue is worked out)

With best regards,

ShadowHunter

Hi,
first of all many thanks for extension.

I had this extension installed on a server with phpBB 3.2.5.

Yesterday I upgraded to phpBB 3.3 but I did the mistake to NOT disable the extension.
I have access to mysql tables so i deleted the entries of the table called phpbb_ext, I also deleted the content of /ext directory.
So far so good.

Now I tried to reload this extension but I have this error:

Information
The selected extension cannot be enabled, please verify the extension’s requirements.

You cannot install this extension while you still have the “Cookie policy” extension installed.
Please disable and delete the data for the “Cookie policy” extension and then try again.

the extension manager page is this:

Code: Select all

EXTENSION NAME	CURRENT VERSION	OPTIONS	ACTIONS
Disabled Extensions
VigLink	1.0.5	Details	Enable
[*] Privacy policy	2.1.0-RC7	Details	Enable
[/b]

when I click on enable I have the above error.

Same error if I try to load version 3.3 of the extension.

Can you help, please ?

I can give additional info if you need of course.

Many thanks.
