Hi 3DI, long time. Looks like you have quite a project on your hands. Will be interesting to follow it's development. 8-)

Noted under the reputation settings page of your examples that both the visibility and extra settings are showing a language other than English (ja + nein) for the radio button options. :)

Because I used "tester_1", which is a German tester (UCP = german), in order to test the cross-language's feature/fallbacks related to custom PMs and CSS ranks. The extension does not currently have a German translation and therefore some strings that are native are translated into the user language. (Ie.: Yes and No), it's all right. ;)

Development is to be considered complete, honestly. We could consider this version as the RC.
Now to receive feedback and eventually solve issues .. if any. :)

Event Locations are the same as Event Types... Shouldn't types be different from events?

Event type is the Forum's name (Ie. Europe, Italy, Galapagos, Cinema, Theater..).

Event Location is whatever you set in ACP (Ie. Berlin, Milano, Haiti, Il Padrino, La Traviata).

It's suitable for many context.

Thanks for the quick reply! I guess I didn't notice that because the names of the locations we schedule events at is the same name as the forum and my quick look through the code couldn't find where event type was being set/queried from. :)

I might have to mess with the code a bit to get it to work for my needs. I need to basically make the event type customizable. I might send a pull request if I get that working.

I am quite sure you can achieve your goal using the option "not mandatory fields", so to avoid using the "Event type" one.

Hi! I installed this to use as there isn't anything else like it that Ive found. One suggestion would be to be able to add different types of attendees so you could set limits for each type. Have the types be customizable.

Thanks for all the work!!

Thank you.

Sorry but I am having hard time to understand the request itself, care to expand?

No Problem, happy to help.

Set under participants differing types .. If your event was a a band and you needed different players as an example you could set

Guitars Slots 3
Drums Slots 1
Keyboard Slots 2
Etc..
So individuals could register for the slot they want but as the organizer you can limit each type. Make Sense?

Also there is a Typo in the filter, it says Nr. of participants instead of No. of participants. If You know where that is in the system I can fix mine but so far I haven't found it. :)

That would be huge enhancement, don't hold your breath but feel free to open a feature request if you so wish.

Oops.. :)
Line 54 of /ext/phpbbstudio/dtst/language/en/common.php

Code: Select all

	'DTST_PARTICIPANTS'				=> 'Nr. of participants',

Difficult to see something on a 101px; img, really.
Sounds to me a bit strange, never happened in months of development to any of us.
Ask at the support forums of this very site if your cookie settings are ok, maybe an issue like that IMO.

As per above though, if all fails the tracker it is also designed for bug reports.
Thanks for feedback.

Hi, I'm still having this issue, I tried reaching out about it over on the PHP boards but got kicked back here as its only this extension that has this problem. Its installed on 3.2.4, and the old extension doesn't do it just the 2.0 one. Ive turned everything off, gone back to the base prosilver style but not matter what I do if you click on the location box event type box or change anything in the filter it logs you off. Its only the filter that does it everything else works great. Any suggestions?? Can I disable the filter some way? (its a nice feature but right now its just not working) I think it mak have something to do with it reloading..

Code: Select all

function autoReloadForm() {
  let $form = $('#dtst_filters');

  if ($form.data('dtst-auto-reload')) {
    $form.submit();
  }
}
Thanks in advance for your help!
