No it doesn't work on topics or posts that require admin or moderator approval.
It works now, but now the bbcode I put in the automatic reply is not working now... Curious...? It was working before the change...
Account needed to see that.

Ok, so I see now the basic bbcode it works but it doesn't work for bbcode with admin permissions..
You are welcome. Wish I could give more.... Sorry, I deleted that topic in which the bbcode was not allowed.Ger wrote: ↑Mon Jan 07, 2019 10:41 am Got your PM (and thanks for donation), but still can't see the topic you linked to.
Anyway, usually BBcodes have no admin permissions so I don't take permissions into account at all; the active users' permissions are used. You probably have some extension for posting installed (advanced BBcode I guess) that handles this.
I need to think about if I want to support this and then how. I would need to juggle with permissions to achieve this but you definitely don't want a regular user to acquire admin permissions. Note that the autoreply content can also partly be influenced by the posting user through the placeholders so IMO if a BBCode is important enough to limit to admins, you simply don't want a mere user to use that - not even through an automated message.
Is it possible to allow your tokens in the HTML of a custom BBcode?Within the HTML replacement you can also use any language string present in your language/ directory like this: {L_<STRINGNAME>} where <STRINGNAME> is the name of the translated string you want to add. For example, {L_WROTE} will be displayed as “wrote” or its translation according to user’s locale.
No, i don't think so... I simply use the
submit_post()
function that accepts BBcode. That means BBcode parsing is done after the tokens are replaced. That also allows for BBcode to be used in the autorespond message.I found a way....
Code: Select all
[testbbcode]{SIMPLETEXT}[/testbbcode]
Code: Select all
<h1 style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #000000; background-color: #ffff00;"><em><strong>{SIMPLETEXT}</strong> </em></span></h1>
Code: Select all
[testbbcode]{poster_username}[/testbbcode]
