The points of both those extensions are stored in a users_points column in the users table.
However, when you delete the data of the Ultimate Points extension it will also delete the column, so you'll have to back it up and import the column back once you've got APS installed.

Well, it would be odd to have two points system enabled in the first place.

That being said, it would eventually be possible to switch over and users will still have their points amount, as the same column is being used in the USERS_TABLE, namely user_points. You'll have to re-do the settings and and point values, but they can pretty much achieve the same / more.

I have tested many of the functions are all VERY CUTE
I just missed the option of being able to transfer points between users, and may have an option of limitations via ACP as; min and max transfer amount, minimum post to use function, amount of days between transfers
in points action you may have acp option to display only the actions of the user or the full board (as it is currently), best add permission from >> CAN VIEW only own logs
IN LOGS instead of displaying Adjusted by moderator the title of the reason could be displayed and in N/A the reason

1. Disable the extension
2. Do NOT delete data
3. Delete the phpbbstudio/aps folder
4. Upload the download to phpbbstudio/aps
5. Enable the extension

in points action where it says Adjusted by moderator could show the name of the adjustment because only the name of the setting is shown if clicked on the blue button

It currently does show the 'moderator' in the actions, but you need to have the correct permissions.
This is to provide moderator anonimity (so users can potentially not see which moderator performed the action).

As you can see on this screenshot, tester_50 points were adjusted by a moderator. The moderator is currently listed under the time, which is me (Goldy). If you do not have the correct permissions, it will show 'by moderator'.

I do agree that the positioning is a bit off, so we'll move it so it will be below the 'action', eg; 'Points adjusted by moderator'.

ahh yes, but you don't understand instead of just showing "adjusted by a moderator." shows the actual name of the action, ie what is shown only when you click the blue button next to.





or it could show something like:

I wouldn't add that though.

That's what that button has been made for, it contains all the actions which made the sum of points as per the log.

Example you made a post which contains

A - 2 attachments
B - 1 poll
C - 44 words
D - 1200 chars...

then all of those distinct actions are logged into the modal opened by its button. That list could be very long.

Umm I understand, I thought it was 1 per adjustment, but it groups several adjustments, in this case so it's not really worth it

EDIT:
can I hope to have a new feature for APS?
in ACP>USER AND GROUPS>manager groups>SETTINGS
add an option that time the user is admitted to the group the user gets x points?

and too in Miscellaneous >> add option to receive points for each login?
