what would we do with each user registered in our forum with an email type DEA? ... We eliminate it? ...
I guess that would be up to the administrators, but it would be a great thing to know for starters - thank you for considering it!

Now this is a good idea. Right now I have a long list in the email addresses that can't be used that I've taken from all kinds of sources.

I'll check out this ext in my test domain. Thanks!

Are there any config settings? I just installed this ext and created an account with the temp-mail.org
and got an @eaglemail.top email. Despite that this extension never blocked it.

Hello, John Connor.
Initially to extension does not have any configuration, but I am working on it to impliment everything commented on this topic.
New domains appear for DEA accounts every day.
These are updated in the database with a difference of days.
The domain you told me was included three days ago.

If you do the test today with the domain that you indicate, it should not allow you to register.
;)
My extensions: Anti Adblock, PayForLink, SlideWeUni, StoreToMega, SearchBack, ShowSnow, No DEA Emails.

Confirmed.
Now, with that domain registration is not allowed.

Doesn't appear to be working. I tried my test domain and my live board. I don't see any errors either. I checked CloudFlare to see if an IP was blocked and it wasn't.

Hi John connor, verify that the PHP function file_get_contents() is enabled on your server. :?

How do I verify that? I have a shared account. Is there a script I can run to check?

This can also be checked code wise. Also I reccomend using cURL instead.

allow_url_fopen is responsible for file_get_contents().
This is what you have to check if enabled in your php.ini or ACP / php_info.

Or a simple script

Code: Select all

<?php

if (!ini_get('allow_url_fopen'))
{
	echo 'That is bad, allow_url_fopen IS disabled';
}

Thanks for the script. Yes, url_fopen is disabled and I think it is due to a security issue and my host has it off. I seem to remember now an extension I had the Dev recode for cURL due to this.

There is not possible to whitelist a domain, so it means that we do not have control over the list of domains :idea:

Updated extension.
Now it is only possible to install the extension if allow_url_fopen = On or extension cURL of PHP loaded.

John connor, if you install the new version i appreciate your feedback.
