Looking at doing a new version for this extension. I haven't started coding anything yet since I have very little spare time for the next few months, so repo pushes will be few and far between.

That sounds more like a full fledged forum (like phpBB) than a knowledge base, but that's maybe just me...?

no no, vote up / down is to show whether the article was useful or not, commenting system is always welcome to discuss or add feedback

Thats not something that will happen.It is also not intergrated within phpBB at all.

A simple workaround for that is a dedicated forum used as a KB.

For me:
sub-categories
attachments like phpbb ( im using little improvement to reducing image size when uploading )

A bug when using PostgreSQL:duplicated primary key.
for sample category and sample article pk must not defined because it is auto increment.

Thank you for pointing that out, but please post issues with 1.0.x in the CDB support section. This topic is specifically for 2.0.x which, as of right now, very little code has been wrote for it.
