[3.3][RC] Manage Forum Subscriptions

Hi David,

For next RC update, it would be good to have the option for User Administration: Forum Subscriptions panel to be displayed expanded by default.

For a phpBB Board with scores of subforums, the current default to be collapsed under their category heads makes good sense. However, for a Board with less than 15 forums, such as mine, it's easier to see them all displayed expanded without having to click on each category to verify.

Were you able to resolve the bug in RC3 above (assuming there was one)?

Yes fixed

These types of things are always difficult but from experience I find that it is better starting from being collapsed otherwise you can end up with long pages to scroll through. Also it is generally accepted that lists are collapsed on opening.

If you want to change that behaviour then all that is needed is to delete a line of css code.

Updated to RC4

• A listing added in ACP Users & Groups showing who is subscribed in each forum.
• Added ability to mass email all subscribers to a forum.
• Bug fixed when adding a new group.

To install:

• Disable current version
• Delete data
• Delete files
• Upload new files
• Enable
• Set permissions

It is in the acp.css file of this extension and is at the bottom of that file (it is commented)

I just commented out the last block in acp.css, and the Subscriptions page now opens expanded, making it easier to review and edit.

You can add/remove subscriptions for either a group or an individual user
