****, but I will offer DanielTj some help developing his extension, if he wants some help. ****
Genuine offer of helping you.
Either way, my extension is more for me and my own forum. I’m not really working on phpBB much anyway (can’t be bothered), so please don’t have hopes much will change any time soon.
Fair enough.

This is not a live forum, but on local via WAMP on Windows OS.

Do you need any other details ?

FYKI , the DIRECTORY_SEPARATOR is for file system, not for URL, the URL should always have /.

No, I've fixed it in the next release, I had seen something in your picture I was curious about.

A small update, I’ve completed the jq popup and I’ve included negative reactions as requested by eunaumtenhoid, as the reputation extension in development isn’t being worked on.

ETA 2029.

My requests:
would it be possible to add a small reputation system for the reactions? e.g. receiving positive feedback gains xx reputation points, receiving negative feedback loses x reputation points...
How about something like this?

It was quite easy to implement, I'll try over the next week to release the next version.

Easy to implement? Says Steve. What you call easy is impossible for most of us here. You do some good work there man! But if you tell anyone I said that, I'll deny it. :~)

Re: "Enable Thank/Like button" option

Rather than disabling all of the reactions I think a better approach is to leave them enabled and just rename the option to "Enable reaction buttons" or "Use individual buttons for reactions" (and of course relabel the "show text" option as applicable). For the reactions themselves I think you can select a default FontAwesome icon for each and add into the table as a separate column and allow the user to change it in the reactions add/edit screen. This is much like what is done in the official Pages extension for the page links.

Another thing: the hiding of the button that one reacted with and showing a "remove" button is a bit weird. Most social media platforms that allow different reactions just show the one reaction and if you click the reaction again it removes it. Maybe for later, but something to think about.

Lastly there should be a migration to add permissions. Not really the norm to have to set them after installing an extension.

I have been using this extension with great success for years now. But the other day, a couple of users reported back, that when they log in to my forum, they get a blank error 500 page. If they are not logged in, they can see the forum just fine.

If I disable the Topic/Post Reactions extension, the users can see my forum pages again, but only when not logged in.

I was using version "0.5.6-dev" and today I updated to "0.9.0-dev", but that didn't help.
Any ideas? My guess is that the db part with post/topic reactions is messed up.

I would prefeer to find and fix the problem, but a solution could perhaps be to delete all the extension data and re-install?

Please check the server errors logs for a possible reason for the blank 500 which is essentially a suppressed PHP error and post anything you find back here.

Hi Mick,

I don't know how or where to find server error logs. Dont think I have access to theese files at my hosting provider (one.com).
I tried enabeling php errors, but no errors was shown.

Is there something in particular I can check for the two users in the database?
My guess is that some fk's perhaps is broken?
