Login for whole site

Post by callumacrae » Sun Jun 22, 2008 3:19 pm

I have a site, http://paperhub.co.cc and I want it so that instead of having to register for every bit of the site you only have to use the forum login.

I HAVE noticed that PhpBB uses it's own encryption system and I have also noticed that it doesn't seem to use sessions.
How can I either put a login script in another bit of the site or get it to carry user ID through sessions?

phpbb does use sessions. Here is an article written for version 2. Perhaps you can adapt its solution:

I don't know how PhpBB works and so I can't really adapt it.
I am learning, but I am doing too many other things to learn fast.
I am not in the same directory either.

What is the equivalent of extension.inc?
