Alternative way of changing mysql settings

Post by numerical25 » Tue Jul 08, 2008 11:17 pm

I changed the permission on mysql to verify for a password. But at the time of installation of phpbb, permissions was at default, root and password was blank. now that I changed the permissions to mysql, I cant access acp to modify mysql settings or modify anything at that. Is there a alternative to getting into the configurations and putting the password in without going into acp ?

The database settings are stored in config.php.
