You need to encode the square brackets. Replace '[' with '%5B' and ']' with '%5D'.

For example, the URL:

Code: Select all

http://www.example.com/brackets[test]

Would be written as:

Code: Select all

http://www.example.com/brackets%5Btest%5D

Resulting in:

http://www.example.com/brackets%5Btest%5D

At the bottom of that page you'll see a URL encoder, put your URL into it and it produces this download

Wikipedia is notorious for this : they have urls ending in exclamation points and brackets, which dont resolve correctly if you omit the URL tags.

No, you should encode parenthesis or use the [url] tag.
