displaying user info

hello,

i'm using prosilver on phpbb3 and new to it

so you know you have the displaying user info on the side of a phpbb forum post (where it says their location) under that i want to have 3 displaying pieces of information, which read.

earnings year 1: and they enter theres
year2:
year 3:

all these to be displayed on the side in all posts and so they are able to enter this info in the profile.

any help?

You will need to setup custom profile fields.

thanks i can see how that works. i haven't managed to get any new profile boxes i create displaying with posts people make, for example if i enter a location it comes up over here >>>>>>>>>>>
in the posts.

The custom boxes only seem to appear in the users profile. any ideas ?

If you are referring to the area containing the user avatar that is where it will be placed.
Where did you want or expect it?

i want it to read

Did you click yes to the option "display profile field"

yep, its only displaying in the users profile

Was the info entered into the field via the profile? If nothing entered nothing will show.

yep i'm doing in on admins name, when i click on admins profile the box is in there under the groups drop down box it says:

2007 earnings: whatever (which i entered)

Did you set Custom profile fields info in 'load settings'
ACP->general tab->load settings (scroll to bottom)
