Support with phpBB3

Post by ThunderOKC »

I uploaded my own logo for the X-Treme Green template and next to it, there is this message...

yourdomain.com
A short text to describe your forum

I looked in the Templates to Edit somewhere, but can't find it.

Is it possible to just have a logo only? If not, how can I edit the text next to the logo image?

You can change or delete that message by going to your ACP -> General -> Board settings.

The instructions on installing tells us with phpBB3 folder. I don't want that.

I want to install all the files directly into the domain.net, which I had done that successfully, but to access the ACP, I get an error. So, I have to uninstall and reinstall. I dunno what went wrong, since all the tests passed.

domain.net/phpBB3 to access forum <<< No don't want that.
domain.net to access forum <<< BINGO!

Hi, I'm back. ;)

I had just spent hours with the permissions. It is truely a worst nightmare than previous phpBB and SMF. I think I got most of them just fine, but will have to recheck thru them all to be sure.

In the GCP >>> STYLES >>> Templates, which option do I choose to edit the width of the entire template? Right now, it is blown way too big, from side to side. I would like to skim the width. Which specific codes line in a specific option dropdown?
